Scott McNeil
You name it. He's it.
- Rattrap: Since he's small and can easily snoop around places, he's always complaining about how he has to be put in danger while everyone else hides. He's typically not very confident of anyone else's abilities, giving him the trademark catch phrase "We're all gonna die." He's tricky, sarcastic, and is quite often caught playing video games on the ship's computer.
Voice Clip: "You know, I feel just heaps better knowing that our lives are in your capable hands. ...We're all gonna die."
- Dinobot: He's kinda like the bat in the battle between birds and beasts. He keeps switching sides depending on who he thinks will win. Pretty much a loner through the first half of the seires, he develops a somewhat philosophical attitue later. And his loyalty is never really proven until he gives his life to save the future. But he gets cloned and is brought back as a Predacon. And then switches sides and gives his life to save the future again.
Voice Clip: "To be, or not to be. That is the question. These discs I hold: Are they a record of what will be, or only of what may? For if the future is indeed immutably foretold, then my demise is but moments from that confirmation, for I... I could not live if not the master of my fate."
- Waspinator: He's in the show from the beginning. Definitely the least serious of the bad guys. He also seems to be cursed to be blown to pieces in almost every episode. He also has a weird way of talking, since he uses absolutely no pronouns.
Voice Clip: "Ohhh sure, don' mind Waspinator. Waspinator just lie here and suffer. Drag himself to CR tank. ::grumblegrumble:: Not fair..."
- Silverbolt: Mr. Chivalry himself. He's even characterized by a little trumpet fanfare whenever he makes a dramatic appearence or statement. He's always out to aid the weak and the women... no matter whose side they're on!
Voice Clip: "I think my name is... Silverbolt (buhn buun buhn buuuuun!) Yes, pure, strong, and... and fast!"
- Piccolo: His history is... complicated. From what I gather, Kami came to earth and purged the dark side of him, which became a separate being: Piccolo-daimao. Then Piccolo-daimao died, but created an offspring: Piccolo. I think that's right. Anyway, Piccolo starts off as a villian, but after he hangs around with Gohan, who idolizes him in a friendly way, he kinda has a change in heart.
Voice Clip: "Earlier today, this boy showed signs that he might be the most powerful person on this planet. I think I can teach him to control his power, so he can use it to help us defend the earth when the other Saiyans arrive."
- Duo: Well, since this one's pretty obvious, I'd say it's safe to say that Duo is Scott McNeil. Of the five Gundam pilots, Duo is definitely the least serious. However, he's still a loner like the rest of them, he just has more of a sense of humor about it. He calls himself "Shinigami" ("God of Death" or "Great Destroyer", depending on which version you watch), and pilots the Gundam Deathscythe. He's my favorite character in the show, pilots my favorite Gundam, and is voiced by my favorite voice actor. I just love this guy ^_^.
Voice Clip: "::sigh:: Why did I even bother to rescue this guy in the first place? He's anti-social, thinks he's Evel Knievel, and hardly speaks! Auuoogh... You've got such a gloomy personality, why don't you just give up and stop pretending to be human?" Heero: "Hey!"
- Suezo: The little yellow eyeball, uh, thing. He doesn't have any limbs except for one leg, so he uses his tounge to do much of anythin (eew). But, since all he is is an eye, he's useful when trying to spot something. And he's also got a somewhat annoying attitude.
Voice Clip: None yet
- Hack: Actually, he's Hack's second voice; for the third season. Hack and Slash are two inseperable, incompetent robots. They are constantly talking over each other, so it's almost impossible to find a line of one talking alone.
Voice Clip: Uhh... I really have no idea how to transcribe this ^_^*
General Commentary: One word: Wow. How the heck does he do this? He's four characters in one show, all with completely different voices! And then Piccolo is another different voice altogether, too! Duo and Hack both sound a lot like Rattrap, though. I definietly consider him my favorite voice actor. What he does takes a LOT of talent. He plays a wide variety of roles (including a major number of extras in Gundam, which throws me sometimes), so it's hard to sum him up.
