Ted Cole
The inconspicuous overly-romantic martial artist justice boy?
- Yamcha: A hyper, martial arts-loving guy with scars all over his face. Seems a little reckless at times, so gets killed off rather quickly at the beginning of the DBZ series ::cough::. But heck, practically no one in Dragonball dies for good, so it's not a problem.
Voice Clip: "Sit this one out for me, Krillin. You'll get your chance, don't you worry about that."
- Wufei: Pilots both the Shenlong and Altron Gundams, both of which he refers to as "Nataku". He doesn't interact with the other pilots much, and has a thing against women (and this guy plays Kuno?!). Later, he develops sort of an overblown sense of justice, and often gives justice lectures during battles (however, he's nowhere near as bad as Amelia from Slayers).
Voice Clip: "Fighting a weak enemy leaves me feeling so empty afterwards.... UAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!"
- Daisuke: Not to be confused with the Daisuke from Ranma. This guy, um, really has no personality. He just sorta shows up, then you kinda forget he's there. Probably why I can't remember much about him ^_^*
Voice Clip: "I propose a toast. Here's to the strangest, most unusual and bizarre reunion on record!" Everyone: "Cheers!"
- Kuno: The Shakespeare-spouting upperclassman who is always on the lookout for a pretty girl. Is usually punted into the statosphere by one of the lead females before he gets much dialogue in.
Voice Clip: "Fair ones, no! Lacking suitable male company, no doubt you have in your innocence turned to each other, but I can allow it no longer. Oh! I, Tatewaki Kuno shall singlehandedly deliver you from the bonds of spinsterhood. Come, be my loves! And together we shall.. *gwoouughh...*"
General Commentary: We can leave Daisuke out of the picture in this one, since he's boring. All things considered, I like Ted as Kuno better than Yamcha. Maybe because I saw him as Kuno first, and couldn't really get used to him sounding gruff and macho. Although it would be frightfully interesting to imagine Yamcha doing some of Kuno's lines. "Whither the tree-borne kettle girl?" Actually, I can kinda picture Yamcha running out to a battlefield, spouting some melodramatic mush, then getting pounded flat. Wufei, on the other hand...
