Jack strokes Jennifer's hair as he begins to kiss her. It feels so good to be able to hold Jennifer in his arms again. It had been so long. His mind tells him that it would be best for them to wait. There is still no guarantee whether he is a free man for good. But his heart is telling him a completely different story. His heart is telling him to give in to his feelings and emotions and to savor this time with Jennifer as if it would be his last. 'But is this fair to Jennifer?' he wonders. 'Is it fair to her and is this really what she wants?' As if on cue, Jenn stops kissing Jack long enough to whisper, "This is what I want Jack. I've been dreaming about this moment for so long. I want you so much." She stares into his blue eyes for a moment before she starts kissing his neck again. Jack grins to himself and thinks, 'I guess so.' He gently pulls her away and takes her left hand in both his hands. He holds it up to his lips and kisses it, not taking his eyes off of her. She smiles at him lovingly. Jack gives her a tiny smile before proceeding to shower her with kisses. Still holding her hand, he begins to work his way up her arm, kissing every inch of it. The passion is igniting as the two cherish the moment. Jack's lips reach her left shoulder and then his lips finally reach her neck. As he is kissing Jennifer there, he slowly takes his hand and begins to slide one of the straps of her nightgown off her shoulder.
He had never seen her wear this white nightgown before. He stops kissing her and takes his time to take in the beautiful sight of Jenn sitting so close to him in that nightgown. He finally says, "You look so beautiful." He slides his hand down one of Jennifer's legs, feeling the silk. He looks up at her again, smiles and says, "Is this new?" Jennifer smiles and answers, "Yes, it is. I bought it just for you. And I was saving it for a very special night, like I hope tonight will be." Jack, touched by those words, does not respond. "So you like it?" Jennifer asks, after a long pause. Jack looks at her like she's crazy she even had to ask him that. He takes another long look at her and then lets out a deep breath and says, "Yeah. Yeah, I like it...... But even moreso, I love the woman wearing it." Jennifer smiles and continues to tease him. "But do you know where this nightgown would look better?" Jack, not being able to imagine a place where the nightgown could look more beautiful, asks, "Where?" Jenn smiles and leans closer to Jack. She finally whispers in his ear, "On the floor next to this bed...... without me in it."
Jack quickly looks at her and smiles. His blue eyes are sparkling and are giving off a sense of playful mischief. He is speechless though. What do you say to that? Jennifer, sensing Jack's hesitance, tries to change the subject a bit. "You know Jack..... I don't think I've ever been as happy as I am right now... I love you so much." Jack, who has been able to regain his composure, responds, "Jenn, I don't think I've ever loved you as much as I do right now. I love you too. More than I can ever say." He leans closer to Jennifer and they begin to kiss again. Jack's hand starts traveling all over her body, gently caressing her. Jennifer, loving the moment, continues to enjoy being with him. Jack stops again and brushes his hand against Jennifer's cheek. He loves looking at and touching her precious face. Jack then lets go of Jenn, and slides over on the bed to make room for her. He pulls open the sheets, then smiles and pats the empty spot next to him, inviting her under the covers with him.
Now this was an invitation Jennifer had been waiting for. But before accepting it, she stares at Jack's face for a few more moments. He looks so sexy laying there in bed waiting for her. His eyes are saying "Come join me under the covers, Jenn". His grin is almost naughty, symbolizing the many things that could happen in the very near future. Jenn doesn't mind the look on his face at all. In fact, she welcomes it and encourages it. 'Oh Jack,' she begins to think. 'If you only knew how much I'm looking forward to this. How long I've been waiting for us to be togeth--' Jennifer stops and realizes she's been staring at Jack this whole time. "Jenn, it's not nice to stare," Jack says, with a teasing smile. Jennifer begins to blush, but tries to control and stop it. She doesn't want Jack to notice. Then she realizes that it isn't light enough in the room for him to see so she allows her cheeks to turn a light shade of red. She smiles and quietly laughs. "I'm sorry," she replies. Jack continues to smile back. Now it's his turn to take his time to stare at Jennifer. He slowly takes in the image of Jennifer's face staring at him lovingly. He had truly never seen a more breathtaking sight. Realizing that she had just apologized to him, he says, "It's not a problem... I can get lost staring at your beautiful face forever." Jennifer continues to blush and thinks, 'What a guy!' It is this moment when she begins to think about how Jack truly had changed. He was so different now. So openly loving, so openly honest with his feelings. Jennifer knows that she has had a lot of heartache in her life. Her heart had been broken to pieces so many times, and she never knew if she could put it back together again. But she had. And right now, being so close and intimate with the man she loves, she realizes that all the pain and suffering she has had to endure was worth it. This moment with Jack right now is so very special to her. She knows without a doubt that she would live the last few, difficult years of her life all over again if she could end up back in this very place -- with Jack. That's how powerful a moment it is for Jennifer. 'Well,' she thinks. 'Enough of this analyzing.' And with that, she smiles at Jack and quickly slips under the covers with him.
Safely underneath the covers, Jack and Jenn both hold one another in their arms. Jennifer is now comfortably pinned underneath Jack. The moonlight is amazing, as it shines right over the bed and nowhere else. The perfect setting, the perfect atmosphere. The mood is set and the time is now. Jack brushes Jenn's lips with his fingers. Then he leans down and gently kisses her. After some time, the kiss gets more steamy. The two are lost in the moment, unaware that a world exists beyond where they are right now.
