TOOFS stands for ''The Others' Online fan Society'. Just as the name implies, it's a society for fans of the new NBC series "The Others". TOOFS was founded on February 6, 2000 by me, Katori (aka LVxPhile by the X-Files online fans). The society
is open to everyone and there's no requirement to join, except to just
be a fan of 'The others'. But if you weren't a fan of the show, I don't
know why you'd join... ;-)

There's a mailing list that's a part of TOOFS, but you don't have to join the mailing list in order to become a member. The list is being called 'theothersfans' right now. Also in the mailing list, we talk about the episodes and characters of "The Others", as well as paranormal topics. I'm planning to make a "The Others" newsletter, since I'm already posting all "the Others" news in my X-Files newsletter. I'd pass the newsletter through the list and it'll probably be a bi-monthly issue for the time being. All members of the list will automatically be members of TOOFS. To sign up for the TOOFS mailing list, please look in JOIN TOOFS. As I said, you don't need to be a member of the list to be a member of the Society. A little about me, the webmaster and creator of TOOFS. I've been an X-Files fan since 1995. I've seen all the episodes, and I, especially enjoyed Morgan and Wongs work on that series. To me, some of the episodes they've written are the best episodes of all-time in the X-Files series. Knowing the kind of great quality work they do, I was really eXcited to hear about their own series, which we all know as "The Others". The episodes so far in "the Others" have been pretty good and can't wait for future episodes of it. I think that the series has a lot of potential. I'm from the state of Nevada and my real name is really Kaori. But everyone calls me "Kori", for some reason people have a hard time pronouncing 'Kaori' (it actually rhymes with 'Satori'), so that's why everyone just calls me Kori, back home. Since Satori is close to Kaori, I'm known as Katori when doing anything related to "The Others". My hobbies are basically making sites to my fave shows ("The X-Files", "Harsh Realm", "The Others"), playing the piano (been playing for 4 years) and competing in piano competitions (hey, can't say no to free money and fame, right?). Besides tv shows and piano stuff, I love music! I'm a total music lover! My taste in music is pretty much everything, from alternative, to pop, techno, rap, metal, rock, classical, grunge, punk, soft, etc, etc. I like everything except for country, I just never seemed to like country, even though I've tried to like it.
