The following records are from photocopies of original records of Evergreen Cemetery sent to me by the cemetery in 1986. This plot was bought by Frederick C. CANDEE and later was owned by his daughter Julia CANDEE TEXIDO TROWBRIDGE. It is on Prospect Ave. (within the cemetery.) With the possible exceptions of Lucy B. and Earl CANDEE, the other persons buried in this plot are related to Charles M. and Alison LAING CHAPMAN, buried at Center Cemetery, East Hartford, CT.

120 Ash Avenue, a gray stone with two panels labeled Wilcox-Cook. Diana A. (Gillett) Wilcox, 1824-1904, and her son Robert H. Wilcox, 1852-1827, apparently never married Diana's husband, Whiting W. Wilcox, killed at Antietam in 1862 Diana's daughter Louisa, 1850-1861, listed but they are not buried there. Cephas B. Cook, 1839-1877, died in South Canaan, his wife Emma J. (Wilcox) Cook, 1848-1933, who was Robert Wilcox's cousin daughter Lena M. Cook, 1874-1893 daughter Sadie B. (Cook) Bosworth, 1876-1908, wife of Leland W. Bosworth. Charles A. Bosworth, Leland and Sadie's infant son March 15-April 2, 1908, who
died two weeks after his mother died in childbirth. Sadie's brother, George A. Cook, 1870-1955 and his wife Minnie (Campbell) Cook, 1873-1859, are buried in Section 5 along Legion Avenue.
