"With the planet reeling from the Avatar's relentless assaults, the Peacemaker Project, a multi-national task force empowers Steel to organize a Living Assault Weapons division to combat the magical menace. This brings our heroes together for the first time. Also, the Avatar carries a dark secret that will effect the lives of our heroes for some time to come.
