Of the numerous Anasazi dwellings and villages at Chaco Culture National Historic Park, the massive village known as Peublo Bonito ("Beautiful Village") is as impressive, if not more so, as the cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde. Even though several of the rooms and structures have been destroyed by rock falling from the cliffs nearby, the remaining village is an impressive example of the architecture and skill of the Anasazi/Chaco culture.
