SECOND GENERATION

Jeremiah JUDSON, Sgt was b.abt 1621 in Yorkshire, England and d.1700 in Stratford, CT. He was a prominent man in the town; a proprietor in 1638 and Ensign of the Train-Band; Freeman; Justice of the Peace; a large land owner and farmer. He was also a soldier in King Philip's War. He m. Sarah FOOTE (1st wife) (daughter of Nathaniel FOOTE and Elizabeth DEMING) 1652. (Another source indicated that they were m. 1644 which would make Sarah 14 years old at the time.) Sarah FOOTE was b.1632 and d.1673.

He m.1675 Katherine Craig Fairchild (1616-1706). No known children.
