Enjoyed the memories of my first years over here - I'd like a penny for each time I've been told how much someone "just loves my accent." My reply is that "I don't have an accent, you do - I speak English!" I've been here 36 years and still get a bit hom
sick once in a while although when I'm over there, I don't feel at home anymore either. There will always be things I miss and thank you for all your funny comments - when I'm feeling lonesome it somehow makes it all a bit easier....
