"Best of Black Market"

------------Black Market is a record label out of Sacramento. They are the first major rap label to come out of Sacramento. They also have some of the most famous rappers from Sac. including Brotha Lynch Hung, X-Raided, and Mr. Doctor. They have been around for quite awhile now and have been know for releasing violent gangsrap albums.
___There are 20 tracks on this cd, with 5 of them being skits. The cd starts off with an intro and then leads into the first song "Refuce 2 Looze" by Brotha Lynch Hung. This is the one of Brotha Lynch Hung's best songs. It has an awsome beat, lyrics, and hook. The next song is "Black Market" by Doomsday featuring Brotha Lynch Hung and Mr.Doctor. This is another tight song with the only weak part being the chorus. After that is " 40 Oz & Chronic" by Mr.Doctor featuring Brotha Lynch Hung. Real nice beat and good lyrics from both Mr.Doctor and Brotha Lynch Hung. The next good song is " Had 2 Gat Ya" by Brotha Lynch Hung. It is followed by an average song by Homocide called "Dhog House". I really didn't care for this track at all. "That Sickness" is a good song by X-Raided and a bunch of other artists. The next song is "Locc 2 Da Brain" by Brotha Lynch Hung and some other artists and its a real tight track with really nice lyrics. "Taste Da Hate" is a antoher good song with Dre Dog coming really tight on his verse. After TDH is "Wit A Mask On" by X-Raided and some other people. X-Raided comes correct on this song. After this song the rest of the album pretty much falls off with some shitty remixes. The only notable song is " Still Shooting" by X-Raided. Other than that there is nothing special.
___For the most part this cd is pretty good. It starts of really good but starts to suck towards the end. The other problem with this cd is that there isn't that much solo Brotha Lynch Hung songs. They could have dropped those remixes and added some songs from Season Of Da Siccness. But as it stands this is a good cd but could have been better with the material that was available to put on. I can't really recommend this cd to Brotha Lynch Hung fans since most of them has all the songs on here( except the awsome "Refuce 2 Looze). But if you like Black Market and don't have all their cds then this cd is worth getting.
