This animal is called the "tucan". This animal can be found almost everywhere on the forests of Costa Rica. The "tucan" is an animal highly sociable that distinguishes himself by his peak´s longitude, that can reach 1/3 of its total longitude. The peak of this animal presents beautiful colors as the one shown in the picture. The "tucan" is considered one of the most beautiful animals here in Costa Rica due to its beautiful characteristics.

This animal at the right of your screen is called the sloth. We can find them mostly on the coast sides of Costa Rica. This rare looking animals have a great similarity with the now extinct dinosaurs. But there is a great difference with the dinosaurs. This rare looking animals are harmless to people and they feed on plants or on insects. The most important characteristic of the sloths are their long crest that covers their entire upper part of their body. Some people eat these animals´ flesh because they are not harmful for our organism. Sloths can reach a longitude of 1.6 meters.

This sight is from a very important national park in Costa Rica. This sight is from the Tortuguero National Park. This park is mostly forest and here we can find almost all the kinds of species of animals in Costa Rica. Its name comes from the turtle. This is one of the best places to visit in Costa Rica. I recommend it.

This picture is a very common thing that Costa Ricans like to do. Raftboating on the rivers. There is a great river which name is "El Reventazon" that is used as the primary resource for practicing this sport due to its harsh currents.

Beaches are one of the best characteristics that Costa Rica has to offer to people. Here is a photo of a very comfortable beach and a relaxing sight. This sight is very common in all the beaches spread out in our country. Here you will enjoy better your vacations.

Here is a photo of a little waterfall. Waterfalls are also very common in Costa Rica. Many people have built hotels on places where waterfalls can be found so that the people would enjoy their stay better. There is a famous public place here called "Ojo de Agua" (Eye of Water). In this place there is a waterfall that people could enjoy swimming besides it. It´s a great place, I recommend it.
