Inside Mr. McMahon's Corporation

If there is one thing that can be said about the owner of the World Wrestling Federation, the honorable Mr. Vincent K. McMahon, it is that he is one of the true geniuses of the 20th century. Character aside, he took the ailing sport of professional wrestling in the late 1970s and orchestrated its emergence as a worldwide phenomenon first in mid ‘80s, and once again in the late ‘90s. His shrewd business decisions and keen marketing eye were instrumental in this transformation. These skills worked tremendously well on the educated elite of the business world, so there was no reason to think he couldn’t use these skills against "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and his millions of mindless minions.
Now Mr. McMahon is poised not only to take over the business aspect of the wrestling world, but the physical aspect as well. He has recruited an entourage to protect him from all enemies as well as protect his holdings in the WWF. The following is a description of each of Mr. McMahon’s team of enforcers.
The first key ingredient Mr. McMahon acquired was the services of the Big Boss Man.

Even though Mr. McMahon is in prime physical condition, following several unprovoked and outrageous attacks by a younger "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Mr. McMahon desperately needed someone to cover his back. The services of Sgt. Slaughter, Jerry Brisco, and Pat Patterson simply were not getting the job done any longer. So whom does he call for protection? And absolutely nobody strikes fear in the minds of enemies more than the nightstick wielding and short-tempered Big Boss Man. The Big Boss Man has to be darn near six foot ten to seven foot, and must weigh at least in the high 300s. But the aspect of the Big Boss Man that most strikes fear in the heart of enemies is that he usually wears mirrored aviator sunglasses. It is very unnerving to not be able to see into a crazy man’s eyes.
The next addition came from within his own family in the form of his son, Shane McMahon. The perfectly orchestrated scheme in which Shane would befriend "Stone Cold" and build a trusting relationship with Austin could come from no other genius other than Mr. McMahon himself.

This friendship allowed Austin to put his guard down for a mere second, and that was all it took to ruin his chances to recapture WWF gold. Shane’s emphatic 1,2…double middle finger count toward "Stone Cold" in the second round of the Survivor Series was the climactic moment in which Austin finally realized he was screwed. Once again, Mr. McMahon’s brains had defeated Austin’s brawn, but don’t they always?
Mr. McMahon’s new tactic is the decision to surround himself with WWF champions. He has recruited The "World’s Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock. A former Ultimate Fighting Champion as well as current WWF Intercontinental Champion, Shamrock is as mean and as violent as they come in the world of professional wrestling today.

Even though Mr. McMahon acknowledges the fact that Shamrock is an intellectual featherweight, he has great respect for his physical prowess. It is this strength when coupled with his insane states of rage that make him crippling to face. He uses submission rather than pinfall to achieve victory in his matches. His best finishing move is an ankle-lock that when properly applied, has enough pressure to snap a man’s ankle off. Ken Shamrock is definitely a force and enforcer to reckon with.
A total surprise to me, yet another genius move by Mr. McMahon, was the acquisition and swift dismissal of former WWF Heavyweight Champion Shawn Michaels.

Michaels was named the WWF's new Commissioner on a recent episode of RAW. However time showed that Michaels could not be trusted, thus he had to be dealt with...Corporate style!!! His bloodied head through his car's windshield made my new year!
And last but not least, how could I forget the ever arrogant and best-dressed wrestler today, the former Heavyweight Champion of the World Wrestling Federation (SCREW MICK FOLEY), The Rock!

At a mere 26 years of age, the Rock has used Mr. McMahon’s mind as well as his own need for revenge to reach the pinnacle of the professional wrestling world. A former two-time WWF Intercontinental Champion, the Rock played the part of fan favorite perfectly, as he conned the fans of the WWF into thinking he was their "People’s Champion." However secretly, the Rock had never recovered from the fan chants of "Rocky Sucks" and "Die Rocky Die" from the days when he was the evil leader of The Nation. He heard his former fans turn against him as he lost his Intercontinental belt to Hunter Hearst Helmsley at SummerSlam. Well guess what, payback’s a bitch, and the former fans of the Rock feel betrayed. I think they should feel like idiots because that’s what those trailer-park pieces of trash really are! His famed "People’s Elbow" is now the "Corporate Elbow" and he’s got the youth, talent, and strength to be around for a long, long time. And there’s nothing a Jabroni like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin can do about it!!!!!
