CHURCHILL, 2001

Churchill is a town in the province of Manitoba which is situated between Hudson Bay and the Churchill River. The thriving 'metropolis' has a population of around 900 hearty people of which a great percentage are Inuit (Eskimos are a different tribe). The main industry, other than tourism, is the export of grain by ship.

Bear got tired of riding in the cold sled. He is trained to detect polar bears and was taken whenever we went to the lodge
