Best time to visit.

The Monsoon season (June-September) is wet, cloudy and occasionally damp so umbrellas or raincoats are essential commodities. The clouds then depart and the magnificent snowy peaks of Mount Kanchenjunga is once again in full view. October and November, March and April would be the best time to visit Darjeeling. From December to February the daytime temperatures are comfortable but unless you are staying in a heated room the nights can get quite cold..
