First Stop during the journey is at my favourite spot - Lake Victoria, largest lake in Africa. It is as large as whole of England. The lake is vast sheet of water - it reflects the colour of the sky - Brilliant blue to grey during the day. Sunset is most spectral, the Lake takes on rainbow colours, reflects romance of an enchanting evening, water cascading gently with a rustle on to shore.

Lake View from the shore

Lake Victoria is also home to Talapia and Nile Perch fish, crocodiles, and Hippos.

Wild Animals come to the shores to quench their thirst - followed by the predators.

The lake is Navigational - ships ply the waters, carrying out the commercial trade and people across the waters to Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
