Starring Edward G. Robinson, this 1940’s classic depicts one of the 20th centuries earliest public health breakthroughs - the discovery that arsenic could be used as an effective treatment against syphilis. Current experts will describe why at the dawn of the 21st century sexually transmitted diseases once again pose dire threats to society and what is being done to stop them.
