I decided to write a little info about the airline I fly for, since I've had a large amount of emails asking "Sukinowa Airlines? Never heard of it..." Well, you asked for it, here it is:
Sukinowa Airlines is a small independent company that charters flights from New York City to Japan. It is officially pronounced "Soo-key-now-uh" Airlines, but is affectionately referred to as "We-suck-now-a" or "Suck-me-now-a" Airlines by the employees. Boasting a huge fleet of six 737-100s (bought second-hand from one of the major american airlines), Sukinowa ranks near the bottom of the list for customer service and on-time departures. The company holds the unique distinction of paying their flight crews the lowest wages in the industry. The President and CEO, Mark Dillian, is am american entrepreneur who made his fortune with an internet-startup company called "Dillian Tech Services". Sukinowa Airlines barely breaks even financially, yet Dillian remains a millionaire. Each flight attendant works six trips a month, and "days off" is based on seniority, with the most senior crew member holding 5 years of service. There are rumors that Sukinowa Airlines will be bought out by one of the japanese majors, and that all aircraft will be retired and employees will remain with the new company. Luckily for us we'll still have jobs, bad for us in that we'll be back on reserve. Oh well. To make the matter as clear as possible, Sukinowa Airlines sucks.
