"The Indian-Ocean Mountain of Orient" .. is one of the namings suggested to specify my new theory, that which I claim to deal successfully with the long-living obscurities about the subject of 'PUNT', and its surrounding circle of related-matters . This theory-naming may be abbreviated in the text here to appear as the "I.O.M.O."  theory. Nearly all of its material-gathering and partial-studies, were done during the month of May, 2005. The capabilities of the theory and its special studies have turned out to be, I believe, helpful very much.. Not Only in solving the 'bundle' of the numerous mysteries, evinced by the "densely-opaque" and "over-veiled" matter of "Egypt's Punt", .. But Also in clarifying much and deeper about the "General System of Thinking", of Man, .. during those fascinating/frightening ancient times ...

      If my probative-reviewings of this theory and its related aspects, are to be seen here as a satisfactory complete-like scientific 'e-book'.. that is formative of a semi-whole researchful entity, .. I should finish first the mailing of some 90,000 to 100,000-words-long totality of items. All of this, of course, cannot be properly edited over only 1 or 2 e-mailing sessions. So, I hope that our Forum-colleagues allow me the suitable number of e-mailing times to end-up, before considering the matter as fully exhibited to them .. And at the same time, I hope they do not leave me all-over the time in some dark sea of silence, by letting it come about like a 'Blunt Monologue' .. But instead, I hope for their enlighting-greenery of utterance, which can be by turning the procedure into a 'Brisky Discussion'. If we succeed in reaching this form .. it should be .. for the sake and benefit of civilizational-sciences promotion.

    Now, let us look at and examine some apparant : Positive Sides, Logical Threads, Explanatory Turns and Glittering Advantages of .. VIEWING THE MATTER OF PUNT WITH A 'RARELY-USED' LENS, LIKE THAT SUGGESTED BY THE POINTED-TO "I.O.M.O. THEORY" :

                                      Chapter No. 1

                  The Purification "Upper-Punt"

        In the exhaustive supporting research-work, that is done specifically in order to ensure the 'building-up' ( with complex processes ) of the experimental "paragon-like-world-of-perception", of the "I.M.O. Theory", .. a great deal of attention is paid to the performance of the "mini-project", of shooting some considerable enlightening-beams, on the apparantly important detailings of  Queen / Hatshepsut's Royal-Life. These detailings are percieved to hold a lot of 'in-depth' comprehensive entrees, that can answer more general questions, .. which are in-turn currently facing us after managing to 'understand' .. that the place which was actually visited by "Hatshepsut" lies, according to an old 'Near-Eastern' belief , under something comparable to a 'Heavenly-Eden', .. and that if it was not the 'Heavenly Eden' itself, in accordance with the perceptions of the Ancients' Ancestors
     Due to the detection of numerous 'codified signs' and 'relightings' that made us grasp a certain reality about the major reasons and motives, that were greatly responsible for Queen/ Hatshepsut's unique trip to 'PUNT', .. we found ourselves rather compelled to concentrate on the difficult domain of 'Mythological Origins', in order to reach clearer images about the reality of the religeous importance of a highly-sacred place like 'PUNT' to the Eastern Ancients, in general. Hatshepsut's optimum ritualistic-goal, of self-purification within her startling pilgrimage to the "Supreme Self-Purification Shrine" of "Punt" or "Pu'nat'" ., is in-short, a maximum object of that most-obscure trip...
      As a matter of fact, the "Hatshepsutian Expedition" to the countries of Pu'nat', being the only known expedition, to reach its 'Sacred-Peak' , by an Egyptian Ruler, .. had created by itself a 'Partial-Major' mystery, that cried for any possible explanations, to be presented by the "I.O.M.O." theory for international scientific 'reviewing and testing' measures... As a temporary and swift act of dealing with this problem, we may review the following implication paragraph :
" The most convincing reason for that unique Royal-Voyage to Pu'nat', by "Ma'at-Ka-Raa", is defined-not to be the 'acting as a state-visit' ( that which was combined by some marketing there [!] ) to the "Kingdom of Pu'nat'", and being put in-effect by Hatshepsut as the Reigning Queen of Egypt, .. but instead, it is defined in terms of the had been intended 'personally-performed rituals', that wouldn't and couldn't, be done and under-taken there, in Pu'nat', by an agent or a representative, .. and at the same time would have given the "urgently-strived-for" outcome itself, for the "Affected and Needful" Queen ...". --
 Depending on a multiplicity of sources, the "Self-Purifying Rituals" of the "Land Of Pu'nat'", had been seen for a long time, in a vast region of the Near-East and around it, .. to be of help only if performed by the 'Self-Purifyer-To-Be', himself and with no other recognizable options... And for this 'Major Reason' in specific, it appeared for the rarest of all Foreign-Waters Royal Trips, of all Recorded Egyptian History,  .. that Hatshepsut in-effect had to visit herself the "Sacred Shrine Of The Great First Fathers", and face all possible risks of navigating through the Indian Ocean, to be met en-route, .. on the way of going over there and the way of coming back home ..!!
     But we can understand that unusual "Semi-Heroic" and "Desperado-Like" performance of her very much, .. if we barely manage to imagine and see, the high degrees of : personal agony, mental depression, meta-physical fear, psycho-somatic pain, inner-solitude, and deeply sensed vanity and despair, .. the conditions of which were quite likely to had been suffered-from by Hatshepsut, .. during the few-years period that existed, inbetween the two dates of : consolidating the Rule of Egypt for herself, and taking the difficult decision to go and visit, the land of the "Great Ancestors", on a desperate seeking attempt, of self-salvation -- Or as seen by the "I.O.M.O." theory.

           According to Sameh Arab : " It is untrue, as Hatshepsut claimed, that her voyage was the first in history. It has been an ancient tradition to undertake that trip since the 4th dynasty, when a son of "Khufu" (Cheops) did it. Other voyages were mentioned during the reign of "Sahu-Ra" in the early 5th dynasty, when Egyptians began trading with the Land of Punt. Another expedition has been mentioned during the reign of "Pepi II" (6th dynasty). The caravan leader, "Harkhuf" has written to the 9-year old king...  ._._._.  During the reigns of "Mentu-Hotep II" and "Mentu-Hotep III" (11th dynasty), as well as "Sesostris I" and "Amenemhat II" (12th dynasty), successful expeditions were dispatched to the Land of Punt. "Sesostris III" (12th dynasty) had dug a canal joining the Nile and the Red Sea (Suez Gulf), for ships to sail directly to Punt.  ._._._. The text shows one of Hatshepsut’s forgeries, when it mentions that Amon praised her as the first pharaoh to reach this land. It also mentioned that all remote voyages there were only rumors and legends. ".

    On reviewing Arab's "Criticizing-Language" of above, about what Hatshepsut wanted us to believe, concerning her Punatine-Trip and how 'unique' it had been .., we face an unusual problem! It is very difficult to turn his under-lined words above to be literally wrong, but at the same time they could lead the reader's thoughts to be really unfair about the Most-Famous Egyptian Queen and Her Well-Known Oriental Voyage!
     The verification of that problem, with perfect matchness with the "I.O.M.O. Theory", may be expressed by what looks very much likely to come out true :
''What Hatshepsut meant by mentioning "PUNT" in many of her phrases, doesn't seem to be that same "EARTHLY PUNT", which looks 'nice and cozy' and 'goods-full', and that which had been visited and referred-to by a number of previous 'Expedition-Leaders' of various past kings... Through time-consuming analysis, we reach the conclusion that Hatshepsut seems very much describable to had been in an actual 'Double-State' of reference, .. with respect to mentioning the term "Punt"... In, maybe, a lot-clearer righteous sentence of _expression, .. we say we should differentiate between TWO KINDS of "Punt" [!], which seem very likely to be revealed as the actual 'Binary-Objects' of the Hatshepsutian 'complex-trip', .. and thereby her actually meant 'Twain Punts', .. with the consideration that each of them was referred-to, normally, separately at one time of registering in the Temple-Texts, and according to their established and known deferences to the Ancients !!

        Quite a 'strange' conclusion, as it may seem at the earliest-moments of its declaration, but it is very much congrous and in-line with what Sameh Arab himself, pointed to, and is taken from the Ancient Egyptian Texts, .. in his essay about "Hatshepsut" and her Temple at "Al-Deir Al-Bahary" :

" Punt was a legendary land, previously known as the "Land of the God", as mentioned in the "Book of the Dead" :

"The Lands of the Gods see thee,

 they could write [concerning   thee];

the Deserts of Punt could count thee." ". { To Be Continued }
