The Mercedes I
                                German Freighter
                             Built 1952 Sunk 1985
                            depth 90 ft length 190 ft

   Originally this ship was known as the Jacob Rusch. After being grounded during a
 severe storm in 1984, it was towed back into the water and turned into an artificial off
        Fort Lauderdale. Hurricane Andrew broke this wreck into two pieces.

The Jim Atria
                                  Dutch Freighter
                             Built 1961 Sunk 1977
                          depth 90-135 ft length 227 ft

  Originally this ship was known as the Poinciana. After sinking in the Miami River, it
    was refloated and turned into an artificial off Fort Lauderdale.

The Jay Scutti
                                    Harbour Tug
                             Built 1961 Sunk 1986
                            depth 65 ft length 95 ft

  Originally this ship was known as the Arikok. It was seized from drug smugglers, sold
     at auction and turned into an artificial off Fort Lauderdale

The Ancient Mariner

                              Coast Guard Cutter
                            Built 1920's Sunk 1991
                           depth 70 ft length 165 ft

Originally this ship was known as the Nemises. It served as a sub chaser in WW II.
      Most of the superstructure is now missing.

The Rebel
                                 Dutch Freighter
                             Built 1947 Sunk 1985
                           depth 113 ft length 128 ft

    This ship was known by many names. It was seized from drug smugglers, sold at
 auction and later sunk as an artificial reef. Groupers, jacks and barracuda frequent this site.
 

The Jay Dorman
                             British Steel Schooner
                             Built 1938 Sunk 1988
                           depth 78 ft length 138 ft

 This ship was known as the Panda. It was damaged by fire in 1984 . It was sunk as an
  artificial reef four years later. It is now in two pieces thanks to Hurricane Andrew.
 

The Robert Edmister
                              Coast Guard Cutter
                             Built 1953 Sunk 1989
                            depth 70 ft length 95 ft

This ship was known as the Cape Gull. It was damaged by fire in 1984 . It was sunk as
   an artificial reef after being decommissioned.

The Captain Dan
                              Coast Guard Tender
                                 Built Sunk 1990
                           depth 110 ft length 175 ft

 This ship was known as the Hollyhock. It was sunk as an artificial reef after being
     decommissioned. it is now named after Capt. Dan Garnsey charter operater.

The Noula Express
                                Danish Freighter
                             Built 1938 Sunk 1988
                            depth 74 ft length 114 ft

   This ship was known as the Dana Land. It was sunk as an artificial reef after being
       seized from drug smugglers. It is now in two pieces but still a good dive.
