As you say that you'd like to hear about the fire lizards, all three look up from eating the food Tiff had slipped them when you weren't looking and chirp at you happly.  Both you and Tiff have a bit of a chuckle and then the woman gives a short low whistle.  The brown fire lizard comes forward on the command and whistles back at her with a slightly higher pitch. "As I told you, this is Trimp, he's the oldest of my three fire lizards," Tiff smiles while rubbing his eye ridge, "he loves most people but is scared easly, such as when you startled him in the hall way."  You look at her a bit baffled sense you hadn't told her about the insodent. "He gave me a quick mental image of you and I though you might not come in here," she smiled again then continued, "From the moment he first hatched I found he was even then a heavy eatter.  I had no sooner gotten him full then Rakano hatched behind me from another clutch." She now gave a different whistle and the blue walked up to her while Trimp went back to join the gold in eatting.  "Rakano here is very smart for a blue and not as skidish as most which really surprise myself and my brother and sister.  He eats about half as much as Modem but then he's the smallest of the three.  He loves mainly my family and has a hard time getting to like most people."  At this she gives Rakano a final rub on both eye ridges and shews him back towards the food though he needs no real push. Tiff now gives one quick whistle.  Suddenly her whole fair dissappears.  The girl ducks her head sheepishly, "Shards, wrong pitch!"  She whistles again, this time two different notes and the fire lizards return, the gold landing on Tiff's shoulder wraping her tail around the woman's neck. "Modem here," she continued, gasping slightly as she loosend the golden tail around her neck, "was a surprise to me.  I had only ment to take two fire lizards from Karath's Weyr.  Modem hatched just seconds after Rakano did and sense nobody else was in the room at the time I had to feed her too.  For a few minutes I didn't know what I was going to do.  I had only wanted one or two fire lizards,..." at this point Tiff's eyes unfoucused as if going back to that day, "But as I watched her feed, I knew even if I wanted to give her to somebody else I couldn't bear to do it.  I think from that day on she's been very protective of me.  She rarely likes other people yet is a very cheery fire lizard." "Like I told you before," she smiled as she concluded and motioned for Modem to go back to her eating, which she did, "Though I got them from the same place they were all of different clutchs.  They're all a few turns old." "Now would you like to here about me, Vasharath, or do you have to go?"
