Weapons
Mighty foot - Duke's heavily booted right foot.
Pistol - Like any other pistol. Fires 12 shots before Duke has to put in a new clip.
Shotgun - A normal pump-shotgun. Found in most levels.
Ripper - A multi-barrelled gun similar to a gattling gun. A good weapon to carry around, but runs out of ammo fast.
RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade) - This weapon is highly destructive. It is capable of levelling almost anything in a single shot, but at close range, it's very deadly to the player too.
Pipe bombs - Self explanatory. You wait for something to come near, press the detonator, and BOOM! This weapon is small enough to remain unnoticed.
My picture has unexpectedly disappeared, please wait until I get another one!
Shrinker - This weapon reduces enemies to a few inches in size for you to stomp on. The enemy will return to normal size within a few seconds, if not killed.
Devastator - This weapon fires swarms of tiny stinger missiles.
Laser trip-bomb - This device is placed on walls, and emits a laser beam. When the beam is broken, it releases a powerful explosive charge.
Freeze ray - This weapon chills its victims down to near absolute zero for easy smashing. If not killed, the victim thaws within a few seconds.
Monsters
Assault trooper
The basic alien patrol soldier who is often found in groups. He can hover above you if he is equipped with a jetpack. He is fairly easy to kill, but his wrist-mounted ray gun packs a nasty punch if you're not ready.
Assault captain
This guy is much like the trooper, but he carries a device that allows him to teleport out of danger, and often, right behind you.
!Picture to come soon!
Pig cop
This brawny mutant wields a nasty shotgun and it often takes two to three shots to down him. He can also be found in hovering recon patrol vehicles (RPV's) or in the Plutonium Pack, in a tank.
Octabrain
This bizarre creature can both swim and fly easily. His powerful mind blasts can do severe damage and its powerful jaws can deliver a brutal bite at close range.
Shark
More ruthless than a real shark, it goes for blood at every opportunity.
!Picture to come soon!
Protazoid slimer
This is a gelatinous puddle that feeds on your innards. It is spawned from eggs and hops quickly from floor to ceiling and vice versa. One shot with any weapon except the foot or pipe bomb will usually kill it.
Sentry drone
This is a robot pod programmed to zoom close to you and explode kamakaze-style after hunting its target down. It also is programmed to avoid incoming fire.
Enforcer
This lizard-like humanoid can either shoot its ripper chainguns at you, or spit poisonous green glop at you. It can also leap high into the air, making it difficult to shoot at.
My picture is gone, so it will be a few days before I can get another one.
Assault commander
This is a large alien that hovers on anti-gravity pads. He rotates and shoots a small rocket at you with amazing precision. He also says things like "Die Human" or "Suck it down!".
L.A. Meltdown Boss
This is the boss that is found at the end of Episode One. He
is inside the alien ship in the large green room. He packs a large (and I do mean LARGE) ripper cannon and he can also shoot mortars (like pipebombs). Anyone trying to take him on with less than an RPG needs a check-up from the neck up.
Lunar Apocalypse Boss
This is the boss from the end of Episode Two. He is the big monster who's head Duke rips off and does something very funny, but not suitable to repeat here. He shoots swarms of what look
to be devastator missiles. Same as above goes if you take him on with a wimpy gun.
Shrapnel City Boss
This is the boss from the end of Episode Three and the whole game. You fight him on a football field which is flooded with items. He shoots swarms of RPG rockets (less powerful than yours, to give the player a chance!) and he can also crush Duke by walking on you. To fight him, look up and shoot the Duf Blimp with an explosive weapon to get more goodies. Your best bet is to get the steroids and a powerful weapon like the RPG and to race around the perimeter of the field while firing at him. Don't fight with less than an RPG.
