Varieties of Cryptic Tricks

Cryptic Trick #1:

The Clue Maker (me) breaks the word down into parts and describes those parts.

Here is the example clue again:

24. Anagram maker is about either deer or last within (9)

In the clue above, the phrase after 'Anagram maker' is:

'about either deer or last within'.

Hint #1:'About' is many times a replacement for 're', and 'either' is many times a replacement for 'or'.

Hint #2: 'or last within' means 'take the last letter of 'or' and put it inside of the phrase 're or deer'.

Thus, Putting 'r' into 're or deer' in the only likely location gives us:

"reorderer' which is a fair substitute for 'Anagram Maker"! That's All For Now!
