A native of the Shi'ar-dominated planet Timor, the reptilian master of understatement, Ch'od, was once, along with the rest of his race, a mercenary in the service of the Shi'ar Empire. Sent to Alsibar for murdering his Shi'ar commanding officer and refusing to slaughter innocents, Ch'od met and gathered together the band of prisoners who would become the Starjammers.
