Jake Molton is one of the oldest metahumans still active with only Visor of the King's Men being older. His parents were active in the Salvation Army, and even though they never tranferred their fath to him, he did inherit their feelings towards the poor. In his almost 25 year long career he has briefly oined forces with both the King's Men and the London IST, but mostly he works alone. These 25 years he have been working as a Cab driver to make a living which has given him acces to a lot of helpful information. Lately he have been studying law in order to help mistreated people understand what their rights are. Molton often wonders why he keeps up the Mercury charade, but deep inside he knows that it's a part of him. And besides he has become a symbol for the poor, a almost like a kind of patron or saint.
