Sam & Max: Hit the Road
Plot
When the phone
rang that day on the office of the dog Sam and the rabbit Max, they couldn't
imagine that they were about to investigate a new and complicated case:
Bruno the bigfoot's disappearance. After numerous searchs that had carried
them through the weirdest nooks of the american geography (the largest
ball of twine in the world, a bigfoots' meeting, the Mystery Vortex...),
Sam and Max had two important clues: Trixie, the giraffe-girl that had also
disappeared; and Conroy Bumpus, a country singer who collected
exotic animals. They would soon find out the connexion
between all and solve the case.

Review
This
game, like Day of the Tentacle, is one of the most surrealistic ones
that has ever been done. With the brilliant characters of Steve Purcell,
the adventure overflows irony, acid humor and sarcasms (above all, on the
part of Max). And, although all the technical aspects -like the
graphics and the sound- are very good, this is the best of the game.
It is parodied almost everything, with a twisted humor that makes
chuckle. Apart from this, Sam & Max: Hit the Road has funny
but complicated riddles, because they go beyond the most
creative imagination. In spite of its childish appearance,
this is not a game for little child, but it is though for
an adult public that feel like laughing at the world for a while.
