Once upon a time, there were a green and a purple tentacles that went for a walk. They found a river a little bit dirty, but purple tentacle wanted to drink from it. And he turned mad. The "Day of the Tentacle" had started. Bernard (Maniac Mansion), Laverne and Hoagie are the only hope of the human race. They'll have to travel in the time and stop the machine that contaminated before purple tentacle drinks from it, otherwise it'll conquer the world. With the help of Doctor Fred Edison (and his ancestors) they will take part on a foolish fight against tentacle's authority, and they will travel through the past, present and future with lots of humor and an incredibly funny situations. 
This second part of the famous Maniac Mansion (in my humble opinion, one of the worst graphic adventure of the history) doesn't have absolutely nothing to do with its predecessor. With a surrealistic and at the same time magnificent graphics, Day of the Tentacle is a monument to insanity and imagination. It is a hard game, because the riddles often don't have neither head nor tail, but it's worth while making a little effort to enjoy this wonder. The music is funny, but the best of the sound is a dubbage that fits perfectly in the characters. An ideal game to laugh for a while.
