Loom    Plot    After the pass of the Second Shadow, the world was divided in guilds: the one of the weavers, the one of the blacksmiths, the one of the pastors... Bobbin Threadbare, a young boy that belongs to the Weaver's Guild, wakes up the day of his sixteenth birthday to visit his master Hetchel at the Sanctuary. There, he'll be the witness of something he cannot understand yet: the Ancients have turned his master into an egg. From this moment, Bobbin will have to fight with the Chaos that takes possession of the world in an odissey against evil; while he looks for her mother, Cygna. He'll go through wonderful worlds full of magic, and will finish in an splendid ending.    Review    Loom is one of the games that better treats the magic theme. The atmosfear it creates is very involving, partly thanks to a fantastic soundtrack with the exquisite music of Tchaikovsky. The graphics are in EGA, but they achieve to produce a big universe of imagination and beauty. The interface that Loom uses is one of the most originals of the history of graphic adventures: a stick that generates musical notes or, more exactly, it weaves them. it is not a difficult adventure, but the contrary. Too easy and too short, perhaps. But it leaves a very good mouth taste that makes wish a second part.
