This page is about my favorite Warhammer 40,000 Army, the Eldar. The Eldar are the most sophistocated and most technological of all the races in the 41st Millennium. I want to share with you why the Eldar are my favorite army.

Alright, let's face it. If you're even looking at this site, you are already familiar with Warhammer 40,000 and the Eldar race. Because of this, I'm not going to waste your time and mine my discussing the Eldar's background and history. If you're that curious, Codex Eldar is only $20. :)

Ok, so here's why the Eldar is my favorite Warhammer 40,000 Army. They are not ungodly expensive (point values, not cash), they are pretty powerful for their relatively low point values, they are very unique, and one other thing: WRAITHGUARD! So I like Wraithguard, ok? Does that make me a cheesy player? :)

Whenever I play a game, I like armies of 4,000 points. I used to play 2,000 but I feel the need to play larger games after years of playing. That could also be credited to my Space Wolves army, which was my first army. If you want to field Space Wolves, 2,000 points is just not enough. You need larger armies, say anywhere between 2,000-5,000 points.

The relative low points cost of Eldar warriors is awesome. Oh, if you haven't noticed yet, the green and white page is done up in my Eldar Craftworld colors, Biel-Tan. In an average 4,000 point game, I have the following things:

Using that above list, there are a couple nifty things I like to do. Using the two Falcon Grav Tanks, I equip both of them with Talons, Psycho-Sonic Screamers, Crystalline Web, Spectral Shield, Ablative Armour, and Ceramite Armour. That way, you're going to have a fun time destroying them. In one Falcon, I put Jain-Zar and the Banshee squad inside. Fuegan and the Fire Dragons are in the other one. By my second turn, the Falcons can be pretty much in the center of the table. From there, my troops unload and start killing everything. I give each Swooping Hawk Exarch a Vortex Grenade and take out the enemy commander and the most powerful psyker in my first turn. Starting the game with Wraithguard in overwatch proves to be devastating. I love fighting Chaos with Eldar because Daemons are so easy to destroy with Wraithguard.

I have fun painting the Eldar as well. If I get a scanner, I'll post the picture of my Dreanought. He's positioned in a way that he looks like he's disco dancing. I put a bunch of runes on him that almost look like tattoos. Biel-Tan has a pretty basic color scheme that's fun to work with.

Well, that's all she wrote for now. I'll try to update this thing as much as I can. I would love E-Mails from fellow Eldar players to discuss battle tactics and the like, or just converse.
