I love music. I used to work one night a week at the radio station WFWM at Frostburg State University where I went to school. It's there that I learned about more of the bands than you usually see or hear on MTV (when they played videos and not TV shows) or on popular radio.
One of my favorite big time bands is White Zombie . I love these guys. I've seen them live 4 times and it's one of the best live shows I've seen constantly. Rob Zombie and crew just know how to get the adrenalin flowing. Plus I like how they venture into the techno/dance mix with their re-release of their last album but all new mixs. If you like the band on cd/tape, check them out live, they kick ass.

On a different side of things, I really like instrumental music. Specifically I'm talking about Joe Satriani and the like.
However, probably my all time favorite band is Pink Floyd. I have been listening to these guys for over 15 years now. I got the box set after graduating from college and have almost all their cd's. I have been lucky enough to see them live in concert in Philly a few summers ago. It was by far my best concert experience, and I have been to many a concert. Their music covers such a wide range of emotions, sites and sounds. Everytime I listen to an album or watch the movie I pick up something new that I have never noticed before.

As I find more links to some cool bands I'll update this. If you know of any that you think I should put on let me know. I'm trying to stay away from the big bands cause I'm sure they have links everywhere. For instance, I'm a big Metallica fan but I'm sure they have links all over the place. Ironically I think Pantera is great too (since there is a much publicized hatred between them and Metallica) but I haven't found any sites for them yet.
