Introduction

Final Fantasy Tactics is a Squaresoft - Eidos Playstation™ game combining the style of original Final Fantasy games and the style of Ogre Battle/Tactics strategy playing games. The final result? Perhaps one of the best game yet ever since the release of Final Fantasy VII. This game is a mix, as I've said before, between two different types of game play, Role Playing and Strategy.

There are magic spells, summons, items, and many other that make a game like this so incredibly fun and challenging! There are also many characters to choose from, each with their own abilities and attributes. Also, each character can be ranked according to their duties and abilities and they can 'grow' as the game progresses along to other characters, either to a better one or an even worser one, but most of all, it is always a pleasure to find out new secrets and upgrades.

In the game, you are stationed on a battle map, partially 3D and 2D animation and it's sort of like 'Capture the Flag' where you, the hero, is suppose to defeate the enemy and conquer it's territory. In the meanwhile, you are capable of using such and such magic spells, items, and summons to do what you need to defend the world against evil's grasps.
