	Another starcraft sign-up
	Gamecenter is holding a starcraft sign up right now here. I don't know how long this will last, so get over there now. So far, I've gotten signed up at Blizzard's site today, and at Gamecenter's site today. I'm still looking on Gamespot and OGR's sites. Also, the email address is wrong. You need to send it to ericas@cnet.com or news@cnet.com. I'm not sure how long this will remain open, but it's now 2:00 AM and it still is.

	Starcraft sign-up extended
	Blizzard's server couldn't handle all the traffic created from the signup. Therefore, they will extend it to today, starting at 12:00 AM PST. I've got another hour and half to stay up if I want in tonight (this morning?). I only have to stay up till 3:00 AM. Also, OGR and Gamespot have signups at their sites. OGR's is tomorrow (Monday), and I don't know when Gamespot's is.
	Titanic
	I just went and saw Titanic tonight. I thought it was a pretty good movie. It had action, romance, and some subtle comedy. You hardly even notice the 3 and a half hours it takes to watch. The beginning is a little slow, but it gets pretty good. I'd recommend it to anyone.

	I haven't had time to update this week, I've had a LOT of school work to do. I'm working on some news, but who knows when I'll get to putting it up.
	Chris Farley dead
	Apparently, today Chris Farley died of a heart attack. He was found in a friend's condominium.
	Ultima Online
	Gamespot has a review of Ultima Online. They gave it a 4.9. Wow, that's harsh. Check out the review here. Also, a player was banned from UO for duplicating gold. I don't think that's right. I know exploiting bugs is wrong, but he paid for the game, it's not his fault they shipped a game with the possibility of bugs.
	Starcraft Beta Signup on OGR
	OGR has been given a special sign up for the Starcraft beta test. It will be held at a random time, on December 22. 60 people will be chosen and sent to Blizzard. 20 of those are guaranteed in. Remeber, the official signup at Blizzards site is tomorrow, from 6:00 to 12:00 PST.

	Starcraft Beta Test
	A Starcraft beta test has been announced. Check out the details here. The signup will be on Dec. 19th, between 6 and 12 PST. There will be 1000 testers chosen at random. There is an interview up with Bill Roper over Battle.net. Check out the details here.

	I got a lot of work done on my War2 strategy guides. They are all up to date and pretty much finished. Mail me any comments or mistakes on them.

	Updates
	I've put my guestbook up on the left. Go ahead and sign it. Also, the survey button wasn't working but I am fixing that.
	Gamestats Christmas Giveaway
	Gamestats has a contest up that began Dec. 1 and is running through Dec. 24. You have to go around to their sites and see a Christmas tree with a 4 digit number above it. The tree is only up for 30 minutes, and the first one who sees it wins. Personally, I think its just another ploy to get hits on their sites. :( The only reason I mention it is because I saw the number today during school. I was over there looking around and saw a button that said If-News. I decided to check out what it was, and BOOM! There was the tree and number. I hope I win something cool. Some people got free games, or subscriptions to OGR. That's a lot better than a T-shirt.
	Starcraft
	As of today Starcraft has been officially pushed back to January 1998. Read the letter from the designers here. On the bright side, this will give me more time to play AoE and work on those pages. Hopefully it won't be pushed back any further.
	Lords of Magic
	More on Lords of Magic here. There is even a demo you can get, though it is 27.7 MB. If you don't want that, you can get a 6 MB .AVI file. They have a Gallery of pictures, but it doesn't show too much. The game still looks pretty good, though. I'm still looking for it for Christmas, so tell me if you know where I can get it.

	Updates
	I've done some serious work on my Warcraft links page. The rating system is in and all the links work. Next on the To Do list is my strategy pages. They need some serious work. I want to get all my War2 pages completely finished before I start an AOE or Starcraft page. Also, the Survey page now has a button. It's almost midnight and I've got school tomorrow so that's it for tonight.

	New Stuff
	I've been trying to think of some new stuff to add to this page. First off, I'm going to start rating links. Each site will be judged on a base of 5 stars. Most sites need to be submitted to me if you would like a link, although if I find an exceptional site I will notify everyone of it. Secondly, I am going to begin a survey. I'm not sure what all will be on it, we will see how it goes. My first one will be a rating of things on my page. Depending on how people respond to it, we shall see what else will go up. Go there now.

	Starcraft
	Starcraft Tech-base has a little bit of info and a scanned in image of the box. From their message, it looks like Blizzard is shooting for the 23rd. Nothing like waiting till the last minute :) There is a great review up from someone (lucky bum) who got to attend the preview. Check it out at Starcraft Station 17. Or go to the actual review here.
	Lords of Magic
	I went over to check Sierra's Lords of Magic page and they said it was out. Unfortunately, they have absolutely no information whatsoever on it. How are they going to sell a game with no information about it?

	Still nothing up about Starcraft. I hope someone puts something up soon. I'll check later tonight and maybe they will have put up some info, screen shots, or a review up.

	Updates
	Sorry for the lack of updates over the past week. I haven't been able to connect to my ISP so I have to sneak in some time during programming class. I'm getting AoE for Christmas and most likely Starcraft, maybe even Lords of Magic if it comes out. I'll really be busy over break playing each and setting up pages. I really need some more file space here at Geocities. I'm fillin' up quick.
	Starcraft
	Starcraft was previewed today at the Wizards of the Coast Game Center in Seattle. No "civilians" were allowed in, only "important" people. So far, I have seen no info from Blizzards page or the Game Center page on how it went. I'll keep looking.
	Final Fantasy VII
	Final Fantasy VII is coming to the PC! Hip, Hip, Hooray! It is being brought to you by Eidos Interactive has won the rights to produce a version for the PC. If you've played any other Square games, especially the Final Fantasy series you know it's got to be a great game.

	Updates
	I haven't updated in a while, ISP problems again. I really need to get a good one, but I don't want to pay for it. Oh well. I added the colored bar along the side, the banner at the top, and the title on the side. I am hoping it won't take too long to load.
	Cable Modems
	Last night while I was listening to the radio, they had an advertisement for Road Runner Online Service through Time Warner Cable. This lets your Internet connection run through your cable line with a much faster connection speed.
	Warcraft II
	We finally got the network up in my school so we had to test it with a few 2 on 2 games of War2. They went pretty well, and of course I won both. Maybe I'll put up a story page with my various games.
	Myth, the fallen Lords
	There is a new review up on OGR for the game. It must be out now, and it looks great. It's got a great 3-D engine and great special effects. Check out the review.

	Warcraft II Webring?
	Does anyone know what happened to the Warcraft II Webring? I checked the index the other day, the first time I've tried in weeks, and it was gone! Man, that was a pretty good ring. We had over 150 sites. Maybe everyone should join mine!

	INXS lead singer Micheal Hutchence was found dead in an Australian hotel. He apparently committed suicide by hanging himself. Check out the full story on ABCNews.com

	I've joined Web Side Story which provides free advertising, counter, and a bunch of other info for your page.
	Myth, The Fallen Lords
	Myth is a game in the works right now from Bungie. It is currently in the Beta version. There is a review up on OGR. You can find it here. It more of a tactical combat game than an RTS game. You don't have to harvest resources, just kill everyone else. It has an incredible 3-D engine that creatures great looking terrain and units. Check out screen shots at OGR. You can also download the demo, but its a hefty 31 MB!

	Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but I've had ISP problems. I guess I can't complain, it's free. Anyway, during my off time, I've started an HTML help page for aspiring Webmasters. It's not finished yet, but I'm working on it. Check it out and tell me what you think.

	Ping is a new area up on Gamespot dedicated to online gaming. It's pretty new, but seems to be a really good idea. Check it out here.

	Counter, again
	When I checked yesterday, the counter said 0000. Today I'm back over 1 million served. :) Some counters let you choose what number they start on. Then people set them at 50,000 or another high number and say that everyone has been there. Everyone wants fame for free. Therefore, the counter is now gone. Poof!
	Smashing Pumpkins
	The Smashing Pumpkins have lost drummer Matt Walker. He has decided to concentrate on his own band, the Cupcakes.

	Back!
	I'm back from my days off. I went to visit some colleges around Ohio. It was a pretty good trip, and I got out of 2 days of school and missed two tests.
	Counter?
	I just looked at the counter and saw over 1 million! I know I've improved on the page, but from virtually no one to everyone is a little ridiculous. Darn Geocities junk. Oh well. Looks impressive.
	Load time
	I finally got up to doing those links in pictures. How does it look? Does it take too long to load? I did everything possible to keep it quick. Send me your thoughts and comments.

	I added a bunch of stuff to the Heroes section. They were up Tuesday, but I had no links to them. Check out those pages too, it's a really good game.

	I've decided to create a Heroes of Might and Magic II page. I'm not sure, how long it will take to get up, but I'll be working on it. I've got the main page up, but there isn't much there. I've got to try to find some pictures to put up. If you haven't played the game, you really should. It's a great game. New World Computing.

	What to buy this Holiday season?
	GamePen has a Holiday Gift Guide. Its got reviews of lots of games from differing categories. Almost every game listed has been tested by their staff.
	More on Lords of Magic
	Another review on Lords of Magic is up on OGR. They don't give as much info about the game, but there are lots more pictures. They report the game coming out in December. Yet another game just in time for Christmas. Check out the preview. Also, here is the Impressions page. They say a minimum of 16 MB of RAM to play and a 75+ Mhz processor. Recommended are 32 MB RAM and 133 Mhz.

	Marilyn Manson
	I don't know if you've heard this or not, but some guy is saying that his son killed himself because of Marilyn Manson's music. He's trying to get some kind of previewing system for parents to see what their kids are listening to. Personally, I don't think it will matter. I know my parents never look at what CD's I buy. I doubt they will spend any time looking now. It really makes you think how much influence music really has in our lives.

	Added my Link Exchange Banner to the top. Maybe I'll get more credits through it. I really need to make a new banner to be previewed for my page. Need to get a logo for the top instead of the War2 logo. I guess I need a name for the page too. Anyone have any good ideas?

	Oasis Tour held up
	Oasis has been forced to cancel three dates in France because of a French truck drivers' strike. The band's equipment is stranded in Lille, France, the site of their last show, unable to move because of the strikers, who are demanding better wages and work conditions. Oasis had been scheduled to play a charity show in Paris on Tuesday, and also had shows set in Angers and Bordeaux. All the concerts have been shelved, but the tour will resume on November 8 in Zaragoza, Spain. "They are very disappointed about the concerts but they are looking at rescheduling them for a later date," said a spokesman. On the bright side for French fans, Oasis still intends on hitting Paris and the TV show Nulle Part Ailleurs on November 5.

	A new Soundgarden CD is due out the 4th of this month. Since the group has broken up it will be a greatest hits collection, entitled A-Sides. It has 17 tracks.
	More on Updates
	I've got some of the pages fixed. Does anyone know of an easier way to put a table like the one on the bottom on every page without having to cut and paste it everytime it gets changed??? It's not done so I'm going to have to redo all of those pages. Aaarrrgggghhhh!!!!! Also, Diablo pages are gone. I'm tired of the game and hardly have enough time for this page, let alone one that needs completely redone.

	Page Layout
	Well, that's it for the frames. I never really liked them anyway. I think that pages look a lot better without them, if you can get it set up right. The links on the left will eventually be converted into pictures, but only when I get the time. Anything that isn't a link now I am working on and will be converted when the page is finished. I'm putting a lot of work into this page right now, so be patient with it. Pretty good for one nights work, huh?
	An all-purpose page??
	I've decided that since War2 is not as popular as it used to be, I'll change the entire layout. Now all my pages will be linked through this main page. I'm going to need a picture at the top of the page as a logo, but it may take me quite a while to get that done.
	Page Status
	I need to go through and change things on every single page. This may take quite a while so pages may look different for some time. Also, the Hot Keys page isn't done.
	Newer Games
	In case you haven't heard or seen yet, there are tons of new RTS (Real-Time Strategy) games coming out recently or very soon. I plan on getting at least Age of Empires and maybe Starcraft when it comes out. Age of Empires is currently out and looks to be incredible. I'll probably start an AoE page when I get it and some time to play. Starcraft also looks to be very promising. I'm not sure when it is coming out.
