Paladin Spells
Holy Vision

Holy vision is used to see far off into unknown territory and behind enemy lines. It can be useful if you cannot get a flying machine
into an enemy encampment or want to quickly check an unused mine. Other than that, a flying machine provides a longer time of view which should be used.
Necessity Rating: (its free)
Healing
Healing is the paladins best spell. You can set up defenses with paladins and heal yourselves for the next battle. Healing can be
cast on all units except ballistas and flying machines. It is especially useful for helping those expensive gryphon attacks.
Necessity Rating: *****
Exorcism
Exorcism is a spell used to "kill" the dead. A paladin with full magic can completely destroy a new DK. It can also be used
to harm skeletons. This spell is a must have if you are playing someone who likes to use DK's.
Necessity Rating: ***
Mage Spells
Fireball

All mages start with this spell. It is relatively useless, especially compared with the DK's starting spell - Death Coil. I never use this
spell nor have I ever seen someone else use it. Those 100 MP can create a decent blizzard. Necessity Rating: (its free)
Slow

Slow does exactly what it sounds like, it slows down the enemy. It cuts the speed of an enemy and the number of attacks in half.
This spell can almost completely counteract a bloodlusted ogre-mage. Necessity Rating: ****
Flame Shield

Flame shield puts a shield of flames around the target. It can be used to run a flame shielded peasant into a crowd of ogres or if
they sit in nice blocks of 9 cast it on the middle one to harm them all.(see below)
Necessity Rating: **
Examples of Flame Shield in action:
1) Start with a group of 9 ogres.
2) Cast Flame Shield on the middle one.
3) If they are on stand ground this will be the outcome! If not they will all be damaged and chase you.(Have backup available.)

Invisibility

Invisibility turns its recipient invisible to your enemies for a short time. It is extremely useful for sneaking into someone's town and putting
up some towers. It also works well to have invisible transports to unload your guys in secret. Do not use of demo squads, it blows
them up.
Necessity Rating: *****
Polymorph

Polymorph changes the enemy into a critter. It is the best weapon against a dragon. It can destroy anything organic instantly.
Necessity Rating: ****
Blizzard

Blizzard is the best spell for a mage. It can completely destroy enemies and buildings. A huge ice storm bombards an area with ice
destroying everything (except the caster) in its path. Necessity Rating: *****

Ogre-Mage Spells

Eye of Kilrogg
The eye of Kilrogg is the fastest unit with a speed of 21. It is used like a flying machine and can be quite useful, though it doesn't
have the vision range.
Necessity Rating: (its free)
Bloodlust
Bloodlust is the ogre-mages best spell. Its use gives the recipient 3 times their normal power. This spell should always be used before
a fight (also during if possible). With this spell a group of ogres can destroy a group of knights easily.
Necessity Rating: *****
Runes
Runes are like land mines that blow up when stepped on. A good use for them is to lay a few in front of a group of knights and then
make the knights chase you. Be careful! The runes can hit you too. Each rune contains 5 mines and takes 50 HP each mine.

Death Knight Spells

Death Coil
This spell is used to suck the life from enemies, giving it back to the DK. This spell is great compared to the mages initial spell - Fireball.
Necessity Rating: (its free)
Haste
Speeds up a unit to a speed of 13 (the same as an ogre). Useless to use on anything fast except dragons, who become extremely
quick and fire twice as often. Use with bloodlust on a dragon for maximum effect.
Necessity Rating: **
Raise the Dead
Brings corpses back as skeletons to fight for you. The skeletons are weak, slow, and don't last long against Lv. 5 knights.
Necessity Rating: **
Whirlwind
A whirlwind floats around the area destroying everything. It is quite useless because you have no control. It's just as likely to kill
you as your enemy. It works well against gryphons and dragons.
Necessity Rating: **
Unholy Armor
Makes the recipient invincible from all attacks for a very short time. Benefits are that you can use it to start attacking without being
hurt. Downfalls: It takes half your HP when it wears off and lasts only a few seconds.
Necessity Rating: *
Death and Decay
The DK's equivilent of blizzard. It works the exact same way.
