Ups: Game plays out almost
like a game of chess; it's that strategic. You can print out the cards
you collected via the Game Boy Printer.
Downs: This game has
a huge learning curve to get over if you have never played the trading
card game before.
Graphics- 8 out of 10- The different things pictured on the cards are detailed very nice on any Game Boy you play this game on. Even the pictures of the characters you fight in this game look good.
Sound- 8 out of 10- This game has about as much sound as the original pokemon game did. For example, all the Pokemon attacks make different sounds.
Replay Value- 9 out of 10- This game will keep you playing for hours because you can always fight people in the game again to try to get all of the cards possible. You can also spend a lot of time fighting a friend that owns this game.
Overall- 9 out of 10- This game is for fans of the Pokemon game that are looking for something a little more strategic. But don't expect to pick up this game and play without a lot of practice.
