Strategy
In this section, I will tell you some secret strategies that have made me the
unbeatable TM2 player that I am today, and share some of my favorite combos including Mr. Slam's 100% combo! In theCombo page.
Strategy
- Strategy #1: Always go for the kill. This is the first one because I feel it's the most important of all. It is because
it is obviosly the object of the game. But, some people just shoot once when they have the opportunity. The best way to do this:
freeze the victim and spray them with all your most powerful attacks(usually your special weapon), and then with your not so powerful attacks, and machine guns througout the entire attack.
If they become unfrozen, re-freeze and proceed. Do not use Grasshopper's special in this combo.
- Strategy #2: Shoot first, ask questions later. Whenever you see your enemy shoot as many weapons as you can,
they have a 90% chance of hitting them close up, and a 70% percent chance from far away. This will do 3 things:
- Piss of your opponent.
- Take down their enrgy in sizeable chunks.
- Take up the weapons in the stage due to you collecting them.
So what if you run out of weapons, you can always collect more easily and it really stinks
getting killed with a full arsenal of weapons.
- Strategy #3: A frequent freeze is a happy freeze. Always freeze your opponent, it immobilizes them, hurts them, and intimidates them.
- Strategy #4: The shield IS useful. If some one shoots you from long range, activate the sheild. It really suprises someone because
they thought they were going to hit you.
- Strategy #5:Turbo off fire. If you catch on fire hit the turbo button and the fire will be blown off.
- Strategy #6:Ramming hurts. If you are a big car (Mr. slam,Worthog, Hammerhead, Sweet Tooth etc)
You should ram the smaller cars by either a straight-on collision, or broadsiding them by sharp-turning just before you hit them. Sometimes even little cars hitting other little cars hurts,
just don't slam into big ones. You'll ge mauled.
- Strategy #7:Always move. Never stop.
- Strategy #8:Shoot your machine guns. People usually don't notice or, don't care, when they are getting hit by machine guns. It will prove useful when they are low on energy.
- Strategy #9:Look at the other guys screen. It is useful when dodging weapons, and seeing where they are in relation to you, without using the radar.
