Jenrodan, Jen to his friends, grew up in a small Kagonesti tribe in
southern Ergoth. At the age of twenty-five he disgraced his family and name
by buying goods from a merchant caravan, and was exiled from all Kagonesti
lands. On his flight from his homeland he was captured by Silvanesti elves
and forced into slavery. The Silvanesti called it being reformed; Jenrodan
was forced to do menial jobs around a Silvanesti noble's mansion. One day
on his way back to his "sleeping quarters" he found a Silvanesti beating a
Kagonesti child. The child looked dead but her screams said different,
Jenrodan did the only thing he could do. Using his chains Jen jumped upon
the Silvanesti and strangled him to death. Jen than cradled the child until
she also died. He was caught and blamed for both "murders", what followed
Jenrodan isn't even sure. What he does remember are long days of torture,
a light coming to him and filling him with strength, and escaping somehow.
He wandered the forest guided only by his saving light until he could go no
further. He fell at the base of a tree and just started at the light.
Whether he slipped from consciousness or not is unknown to him, but a voice
came to him proclaiming to him that the goddess Chislev requests his services
as a protector of the forest. He agreed and now travels the forests seeking
to keep them safe from harm and destruction. His last known location was in
the forests around Kalaman.
