I was needing something to do to make a little cash so I accepted their invitation to travel with them. Palin was a noble of the town Greyhawk, so we headed for his town moments later. On the trip there we encountered some bandits. We all fought, but I was the one that showed the most experience. One notable trick I did was have my horse run down one of the men while I jumped off and went after another. Palin and Manara thought they may have an experienced fighter on their hands. Little did they now, it was just lots of fucking luck.
Once we reached Greyhawk, we had some problems. Someone was trying to take over the city. To my surprise it was Palin's brother. Lots of things happened: All I can remember was fighting some ungodly fast dude that kicked my ass.
Some of my life got fuzzy and I don't know why. I just know that when I started to adventure that it got all fucked up.
There was a place called Highmarth that I went to and found a mage. It was in a bar and he was sitting by himself. I can't remember how I introduced myself, but we talked. He ended up giving me a ring. With this ring I could walk around unseen. No one would be safe from the invisible Cambridge.
I went exploring outside Highmarth and found two women on the side of the road. One was bandaging the other. We introduced ourselves and I found that their names are Helga and Martika . I helped them all I could and we parted. I headed back to Highmarth to meet Palin and Manara.
Sometime after that we came across the same two women I did before, Helga and Martika. We asked them if they would like to come along and they did. Martika told us of a cave rich in gold. As dumb idiots we followed her to it finding she told the truth. She didn't tell us there would be a dragon there nor did she tell us of the iron golems and the big giant. We ended up with lots of gold, Palin got a very nice suit of armor, and Manara went to sleep during the whole thing.
