Epilogue

Thus the second tournament of the Alpha fights has concluded. Luckily, no one was killed, despite the rather rampant and chaotic rules that were implemented. Ken and Ryu's victory over Akuma was a decisive one. Once they arrived back at the dojo, a full and proper burial ceremony was given to Master Gouken. Finally, he is able to rest in peace, knowing full well that Ken and Ryu are no pushovers to his evil brother anymore. They reamained at the temple for a little more time together, then went their separate ways. Ken returned back to his home in Seattle, where his father greeted him with open arms. Also on hand was his old friend Eliza, who had promised him that long while ago. Ryu, the vagabond he is, just picked up his earthly belongings in a duffle bag, and started his unending journey across the Earth. He only stopped in villages for provisions and those he though worthy to challenge him. Needless to say, his record is still flawless....

Bison got what he wanted too. With both his influence and financial power, he took over the Alpha tournaments and made quite a profit off them. Some say he is trying to organize a third tournament. He still retained his low profile image, but fought whenever it seemed appropriate. He was able to hire a few rouge fighters for his elite assassination team; Balrog, a banned boxer from the W.B.A. on the count of exessive roughness, Vega, a self-proclaimed narcissistic bullfighter whose looks match his ninjitsu talents, and Sagat, the ex-Muay Thai champion of Thailand.....

Sagat's humiliation at the hands of both Ryu and Dan scarred him physically and mentally. Losing all his fortune and fame, he sunk into a deep depression. He ignored his training as well as those fans that hadn't deserted him yet. He pondered joining Bison's Shadaloo assassination squad for awhile, but his revenge was too great. Bison promised him his vengeance will be exacted, so he changed his mind. The day he left his humble house he received a letter in the mail. "Hm....no return address." He shook, stared and sniffed it just to see what it could be. Too light to be anything serious. He opened it. What he saw next snapped his last nerve. It was an autograph from his victor of their last fight. And it wasn't pretty. That ended his sanity on the spot.

"To Sagat:

Keep it safe!

-Dan Hibiki

YOYUTCHI!"

Speaking of our fabled hero, after his two month long recovery, he decided to stop being a professional fighter in the circuit for a while. He returned home to Hong Kong and opened up his first dojo. It was promptly titled, "Saikyo Ryu Karate". Because of the popularity that followed him from his decisive win, many young kids followed in his footsteps. His dojo became the most popular in the city. With blind ambition, Dan eventually achieved worldwide fame. Was this his destiny?

What's the matter students? You must focus hard to become a Saikyo Ryu style warrior.

What about Adon and Akuma you say? Well Adon did go on to become Thailand's Muay Thai champion, successfully filling Sagat's shoes in his own way. His arrogance was backed by his rather impressive skill, though some still wanted Sagat to remain. Then it happened one afternoon....

"Master Adon! Some new fighter just jumped into the tournament and killed your next opponent."

"What? What did he look like?"

"Well, he had a black gi on, and red hair and..."

"Hmmmm, I know that fighter. He posesses the same talent Ryu used to defeat Sagat. I must defeat him now and rid him of this world forever."

Ever wonder who won??????

Speaking of Gouki, rumor has that in the fifth year of the second official Street Fighting tournament, Akuma fulfilled his promise to Bison. He flew out from the crowd, executed the Shun Goku Satsu on Bison, and then disappeared, not to be seen again for two more tournaments.............

Pretty damn good, eh? Back to the dojo
