Samurai Spirits & Buddhist Terms
PAGE 1

This page introduce you to know Buddhist terms that appear in general story and characters' moves in SS. Please understand that I  just want you to know some Buddhist terms that are used widely, even in videogame. You may not know those terms because Japanese and English version of SS is different but don't you think it is interesting to know?

I tried to find out these information from my own Archaic Japanese Dictionary and other Japanese encyclopedias in libraries, some information I present may not correct because of misunderstanding or any causes, but at least I try present the most correct meaning,  if you know the correct one or have any opinion, please send me an E-Mail. And, some of the moves that I could find the image, I make a link for you to see.

For you who want to read the additional page of "Buddhism in Japan" and "Japan's Buddhist Iconography". Please click HERE.
