Well first off i'll have to say i'm impreced by the warriors hall. I have been a MechWarrior fan since MechWarrior 2 and after that i have played all of the Mechwarrior parts including GhostBear Legacy and Mercenaries. I have played MechCommander but it d dn't impress me as much as piloting a mechwarrior. Well i'll have to admit something i'm still wondering where dows my soul lie. In the warden way or in the crusader way. I hate the Inner Sphere i hate 'em to the core...i would kill all and leave none of hem for the way of the clans is the true way...but...i hate the Falcons too. If i hate someone more than the Inner Sphere it is the Jade Falcons. Not for what they are but for what they did to our clan. They have devided us, made us weaker...the Jade Wolf s are my bretheren but i they feel somewhat alien to me...so know my heart is thorn. Well, I've been reading MW 3Rd. Ed. for a few days and here's my opinion on it. First of all I beleive the Charecter Creation is better in that it ads a hell of a lot of individuality to the characters. This is acheived by selecting tables representing yo r characters's socio-economic background and rolling the dice to determine various events during your childhood, teen years, military training, and early career. A good roll can ad free stuff (pa always took you hunting +1 to rifles) and a bad roll can y ild bad results (wild party results in destruction of dorm room, several injuries and your expultion) (Don't worry, you still have a lot of control over choosing your characters attributes and skills). In adition they've added a few skills I've always wis ed they'd had such as freefall and martial arts (the straightforward boxing matches of MWII are now under a skill called brawling) in adition to many others. Also they have historical information up to 3062, and a chapter on the daily lives of the various people of BattleTech, such as the religion and the food and drink sections. One of the few bad things about it is the equipment chapter. Some of my favorite equipment that they didn't put in includes the DEST suit, Marine suit, heavy gyrojet, Gyroslug car ine, electronic camo suits, remote sensors, vibroax, almost every support weapon in the MWII compendium, and many other things. But overall it makes a good RPG inasmuch as it draws the person into the game's universe. There's alot more than I've typed abo t in the book but I don't want to write a summary on the whole thing.

I consider myself a veteran mechwarrior (finished mech2, on both sides at least 20 times, finished GBL, including bloodname, without cheats, quite a few times also, and played mercs repeatedly). Like the origional (mechwarrior 2) best. Enjoy the ability to finish missions in lighter (clan) mechs. I would like to get involved in some battles against humans (computer's gettin kinda boring). I can't recite passages out of the rememberance, but I do favor Clan Wolf over the other clans.

I'm currently playing Battletech under the Mechwarrior II rules. My character is from Northwind and the above comment was about an armed DCMS/Star League cruiser he saw in orbit of Tukayyid. I haven't met any Wolves IC, but I am partial to Clan Nova Cat. My observations indicate that Comstar is too secretive to be trusted. Both them and the snakes (DCMS) are no less stuffy that the Smoke Jaguars. They should all drink more scotch

Greetings! I am Garret Tseng, an ex-clanner. I was in the Ghost Bear Clan but was taken bondsman by Smoke Jaguar Forces. I became the commander of a Trinary of abtakhas that eventually left the Clans to become a merc unit, Raven's Irregulars!
