Guys:
Chris Burns- Great work on your first issue of Spider-Man 2099 UG!!!
Issue number five was incredible, and I can't think of a better way for
the Fall of Alchemax to FINALLY end!!! It was spectacular! I can't wait
to see what else you have up your sleeve in the future....and I hope
that your future with the S-Man will be long!!!
Paul, aka "Animalman" - This web site is FANTASTIC!!! It's about time
the flagship character of the 2099 UG got on it's feet and was
represented with a web site. The graphics, etc, are really amazing, and
I can't wait to see this site grow. I know that you're new to the 2099
UG, but there's going to be a big demand for you ( I asked first!!!), so
I hope that you want to stick around. Good work guys!
Jason
(Hope I'm the first in the arachnophilia mailbag!!!)
Well you got your wish. Thanks for the vote of confidence. We all hope that Chris continues to write his great Spidey stories for a long time to come. Here's to the future of working with UG, may 2100 be a good one!
Guys,
I looked at the Spidey 2099UG page, and do have a few suggestions to make it
better (look at me, it seems as though I'm moving in and taking over! But
alas, I told Chris I'd help).
I'm always open to suggestions
1) Center the logo at the top of the page. Looks lots nicer, less
disjointed. Ditto for the Spidey pic.
2) Anyone want any particular pictures scanned, I have a flatbed scanner
and every single appearance of Spidey to work from.
3) How about a slightly more interesting background...something with webs
on it? Or perhaps a cityscape? I'll work on something for you guys to look
over.
4) Has anyone considered frames?
Let me know what y'all think.
-Gary M.
1. I'm working on the final details of positioning within the table, we'll see in the next few weeks. Right now it set up to look fairly good on a 640x480 res. Also the reason it looks the way it does is because I tried to get it to look like a comic cover. Did it work?
2. I have a scanner and all the issues also. Thanks anyway.
3. I created this particular background based on the cover of issue 25 of SM2099. It's simple and not harsh on the eyes. Send your background along and I'll take a look at it.
4. No, I never even considered frames. Going by my past browsing experiences with frames, I'd have to say I pretty much dislike them. Besides it's simple to navigate and maintain this site without frames.
Hope that answers your questions.
