The tournament began with some holding our breath to see if Trumpy would co-operate..(almost had a "case of the missing lobby" once again) LOL But all's well that ends well and 24 teams returned to play after only a few minutes of ICQ craziness! lol There were quite a few VERY close matches and runners-up JoAnneP/GregBBad were fierce competitors for the final winners of Friday Night's Partners' Euchre Tournament >> Indigo500 and Storm64! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ These winners were nice enough to give a very interesting and informative interview.. thanks u2! :) Storm64 and Indigo500 have never partnered together although they are veteran Euchre players: Storm64 I have never played euchre offline..I learned it on The INNNetwork about 6 years ago and have been playing ever since:) and Indigo500 I've been playing euchre since college...(20 years or so...) and been playing online at WW about a year, and before that maybe another year or so. They also play in other GPP Tournaments: Indigo500 "In Scroll's tourney, I partner with Firefly..." and Storm64 "In Scroll's, I Partner with TheBean" meis9 "who is scroll?" **editor's note: where da heck did that come from?? and who is Meis9? ROFL** Storm64 is "originally from Mississippi and have been living in Philadelphia, PA for 11 years now". She is 34 years young and she's single. If she could have any job in the world, it would be "Something in the music industry..I really wish I had the voice to be a  singer...music is so relax and covers all the emotions" Her favorite things?  "Reading mystery novels, theater, eating out, movies, listening to music, playing other computer games, shopping:)" Wow, I'm impressed~~the only answer I could come up with for that question was "playing euchre" LOL Her other interests are: "Movie:  All the Lethal Weapon Movies"; "TV show: I have two:  Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and 7th Heaven"; "song:  Too many to name:  I like pretty much anything by Babyface, Whitney, Vanessa Williams or Mariah". Indigo500 told us that she "went to high school with Babyface  :-)" to which Storm64 wanted to know "can you get me an autograph?"  Storm64's favorite web site "the Hallmark page..I like hallmark's electronic cards:)" Editor's Note to self: Find out if the card rec'd here entitled To My Favorite Interrogator might be from her. Indigo500 lives in Indianapolis and "have most of my life - except for 4 years of college, and that was only an hour away...hehe". She is 42 years young, "Happily married...one daughter, Stephnie, who will be 15 next month...the big countdown has already begun!" Editor's Note: We need more info. on this "countdown" topic, but we're assuming that a) daughter is in a circus, being shot out of the cannon or b) she is sending her daughter to the moon. Check future newsletters for continuing coverage.. Indigo500 likes "tons of movies...Field of Dreams, Clueless, The Way WeWere, Sleepless in Seattle.", "TV Shows: I love HGTV..., and Game shows....., Nash Bridges" and her musical interests? "I like Bruce Sprinstein, and John Mellenkamp, and Bonnie Raitt, and John Hiatt, and Henry Lee Summer, and Shanaya Twain and the Eagles, and the Beach Boys, etc." (ETC??? after that list?? whew, this newsletter isn't THAT long!!  LOL)  When asked how they came up with their nicknames, ok, we'll let you figure out who said what. LOL "I was trying to figure out a nickname, and I live in Indianapolis..the buses here say IndyGo, so it's a play on that...I added the 500 cos of the race. i was "the1" at Webdeck...my husband gave me that one, but it felt kinda conceited...lol" and "My temper..no really,I'm a fan of the X-men and that's where I got storm from, 64 is the year I was born." We're sure that our readers are anxious, as we were, to know what STRATEGY contributed to their win: Indigo500 >>GUTS PURE GUTS and GOOD CARDS! Storm64 >>we had a Psychic connection. The CONSOLATION TOURNAMENT ended with a great match between the teams of RonJons/MaxiMa95 and Craig614/Jenn26.
