Kirby's Adventure

    Kirby is without a doubt the coolest mascot of a video game of all time. I mean what could be cooler than a pink marshmallow ghost thing? Oh yeah, the game rocks too.

    The Kirby games have gameplay like the Mario games with the exception of one thing. YOU CAN EAT YOUR ENEMIES! What could be better than that? Yep, nothing better that sucking up an enemy than spitting him out. If you swallow certain enemies you can take their power. This is extremely cool. For example, if you swallow an enemy wielding a sword you can use the sword! There are some really cool powers like riding in UFO's and lazers. There about 25 powers in all.

    In this game, Kirby's long time nemesis, King DeDeDe has split up pieces of the dream rod and given them to his friends. So Kirby must travel across the land and beat the crap out of DeDeDe's minions and getting pieces of the Dream Rod from bosses. The bosses are really cool ranging from a painter whose drawings come to life and a living tree.

    This game is split up into worlds. Each one showing a nice little intro. You can return to any world you've been to. There are hidden exits in some levels. These lead to bonus games, museums(where you can get enemy powers for free) coliseums(where you can get your energy refilled by winning a fight, and warp zones.

    The bonus games are really fun. The first one is a UFO catcher game. The second one is a quick-draw game. And finally there is a game where you have to eat....eggs.

    Despite how overwhelmingly cute this game is it's really fun. Don't pass it up.
