Mega Man 3

    Ahh...the third Mega Man game. After this one, many people agree that the series started to get stale. Although this sequel had many ideas. But it did some introduce some new characters and a new move. It didn't take a large of a jump from 2 as 2 did from 1.

    In Mega Man 3 it seems that old Wily has given up his old ways of building evil robots and committing crime and he rejoined up with Dr. Light to rebuild a new peacekeeping robot. Things go fine until they realize that they are missing eight key minerals and of course they send Big Blue to go get them. And of course they are guarded by evil robots. Strangely though the minerals are never revealed.
    Anyway, any fan of the series by now knows Wily is faking the whole "I changed my ways" thing.

    This game introduces two new characters. The first of them is Rush the robodog. He is pretty cool because he is like a sidekick for Mega Man, he transforms into jets and submarines and stuff. Then there is Protoman, Mega Man's brother. At first the game makes you think he is a bad guy until he saves you at the end of the game. Oops! Didn't mean to spoil it...

    Also, there is a new move, a cool slide move It's pretty useful, it's mainly used for going through tight spaces though.

    Out of all the MM games this is one of the longest. It starts out with your normal eight robot masters. After defeating them you go to Spark Man, Shadow Man, Gemini Man, and Needle Man's stages all over again except they are different(tougher). And you have to fight the Doc Robots. Doc Robots are big burly robots that take on the programming of one of the robot masters from Mega Man 2, except tougher. Then you go to Dr. Wily's obligatory Skull Castle.

    One of the nicer things about this MM 3 is that it has one of the better endings. It shows you the serial numbers of all of Dr. Light's robots.Very Nice.

Nice graphics and effects. I give it an 8	Probably the best music in the entire series. The title screen, Spark man, Shadow Man, and Protoman's tunes are really good. I give it a 9.	Good stuff although pretty basic. I give it a 7	Great, the slide move was a nice addition. I give it an 8.5	Definitely the best MM game, if not it's really close between this one and 2. I give it a 9.5
