Tip: Memorize, memorize, memorize. If you do, there'll be very little guesswork as to who's going to appear where. While this is a good tip for success, it does makes for dull gaming. Tip: You've heard of conserving ammo? Don't bother. Blast everything (but your own people, of course) and you'll inevitably pick up enough weaponry to see you through.
