Thank you for visiting my adlib page...if you are reading this, you might be a rookie to adlibs..so I'll give you a quick run down, and in no time, you'll be adlibbing like a pro...they are a lot of fun, and I'm sure you'll have as much fun with them as I do.

First of all, and adlib is a famous quote, song, or other literature with some of the words taken out so you can fill in your own...you don't know what writing you're doing until afterwards, because it's more fun that way...for example take this:

Roses are Red
Violets are Blue

Take some words out:

_________ are _______
_________ are ________

Then with your own words in, it could be something like this:

Monkeys are Shiny
Elbows are Purple

You probably should know what all the categories are..here is a following table showing the names and definitions, as well as examples of all the categories used in my adlibs

Category	Definition
Noun	A person, place, or thing ie: Car, Chicago, George Washington
Plural Noun	Multiple persons, places or things ie: Cars, Islands, Munks
Verb	An action ie: run, play, kiss
Passed Tense Verb	An action that has already happened ie: jumped, flew, climbed
Verb + "ing"	An action ending in the letters "ing" ie: jumping, swimming, buying
Verb + "s"	An action ending in the letter "s" ie: jumps, hits, kicks
Adjective	A describing word ie: blue, shiny, slippery
Adverb	A placement in relation to something else ie: above, below, beside **note this is what I was told, if I am wrong, please e-mail me and tell me what the proper word for the definition is**
Number	A number, usually works best when typed out ie: one, three, forty-five
Boy's Name	A name of a male ie: Bob, Mark, Joe
Girl's Name	A name of a female ie: Jenny, Michelle, Sarah
Last Name	Any Last Name ie: Jones, Smith, Doe
Place	Any place that one would go ie: town, doctors office, heaven
Nonsense Word	Any word that you make up, and sounds funny ie: oggitty boggitty, yabba dabba doo, wee wee wee

Ok...now that you know what everything is...I'll tell you how to use it...it's pretty straight forward...when you select a game...a table with appear...beside every category, there is a field..simply type in the word you want in each category...

After you type all your words into the table...(you must fill in every category or it won't work)..you will find two buttons below the table...one said Do it! if you click that button once everything is filled in...it will put your completed adlib in into a box at the bottom of the screen

There is also a button called "Clear it!"..if you click that button, all your fields will be cleared, as well as the box at the bottom if you have already run the adlib...you can press the clear button if you want a friend or family member to try that adlib

That's pretty much all there is to it...1) Fill in the Fields....2) Press the Button ....now you should be prepared to play the adlibs...have fun...if you have any further questions or comments...sign my guestbook, or mail me
