On Saturday Night (Oct 10th '98) Kidman beat Lenny Lane. It was a pretty decnet match, but Kidman got in the Shooting Star Press for the win. However, things didn't get really interesting until after the match when the Disco Inferno came down with a scale and a mike.
DISCO: Well, well, well. If it isn't our cute little cruiserweight champ. Well listen up Little Billy. I don't know if you've been watching lately (Kidman looks ticked off at being called "Little Billy") but I've done everything that WCW has asked me to do. I've beaten every single pipsqueak they've put me in the ring with and as you can see by the scale (steps on the scale) I weigh 215 pounds. Which makes me one lean mean booty shakin' machine. So on behalf of the hundreds of millions of Disco Inferno fans on this planet, around the galaxy, that want to see that belt back around my waist, that want to see gold around the Disco Inferno, I'm here to challenge you (Kidman starts laughing) if you can get your parent's permision, to a match for that belt. So what will it be, jerky boy? (He hands the mike to Kidman, but Kidman is laughing so hard he can't talk. He points to Disco and then to himself and says something, but Disco has the mike back and we can't hear it.)
DISCO: I... I don't know what you think is so funny. I weigh 215 pounds. What's your answer?
KIDMAN: (grabs the mike) Disco, I don't care if you weigh 315 pounds, you're overweight and you're definitely outclassed. (Loud cheers from the crowd) And the only gold you'll ever be wearing (points to Disco's necklace) is that cheap piece of garbage around your neck. (Says something else, but the announcers won't shut up)....for the belt, anytime, anyplace.
DISCO: Whoa, whoa. Hold it. You know, I'm not too good on these old time wrestling cliches. Is that a yes, or is that a no?
KIDMAN: Maybe your mother should've cleaned the wax out of your ears. That's definitely a yes. (Kidman shoves the mike back in Disco's hand as the crowd cheers)
DISCO: (yells) Well that's hot news! That's enough to make a grown man wanna dance! So hit my music, Baby! Instead, they play Kidman's music (definitely new music) and Disco gets mad and leaves as Kidman stands on the middle turnbuckle and shows the belt to the crowd.
