Madonna has been in the music indrustry for a LONG time, notice haw she never really faded out of the scene. She was always changign herself for the time period, in the 1980's she was the girl that everyone wanted to be (hence the new fashion trends she started). And in the 1990's she was that girl that evereyone either hated because of all the controversy that surrounded her. But never-the-less everyone knew who she was. And regardless of all that she still produced good music, and no one can really take that away from her, just look at all the records she sold. I think that is enough proof alone.

It's pretty simple why you should respect her. If you read my thoughts above then I guess you know why respect is a word that this woman earned. I read her autobiography and this only lead me to believe that she never gave up and had determination to achieve her goals.
She never let anyone tell her that she couldn't do it or she was not good enough. To wrap it up. She is the only person who won't let anyone oppress her, she doesn't care what anyone thinks, she soes what she want and she never stopped because people thought couldn't do it, instead she prove to everyone that she can do anything she wants. And that is why I respect her.

So maybe this is a bad idea, this section, because I don't really know about maverick company all that much. All i know that it is owned by MADONNA and she has Alanis Morissette signed. I don't like Alanis. according to me she's just a big wannabee. See here in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada we had the priviledge of hearing this little "grunge goddess" be a "pop queen". Oh yes it's true. Little naked alanis usto dance and sing to music that sucked, like "Too Hot" or "Jealouy" and all those gay ass songs. Well if ther is one thing that didn't change about alanis is; SHE SUCKED THEN AND SHE SUCKS NOW...
