Breeding!

This is the Breeding page.

and I'm the Golden dragon. I'm the best dragon that you can get when breeding. but not everyone can get me. So why Am I so special? well you remember bluescale from the hatchery page. (he's the Big Guardian dragon at the top of the page) I can become like him (if you want me to) you have to write my master an e-mail and tell her that you want your golden dragon to become a Guardian. To get me you must breed a special male (they are scaled or albino's) with a special female. (there are no scaled females) and there will usually be a golden egg in that clutch.

Also Scaled dragons can become Guardians just let my master know when you want a scaled dragon to become one.



Now! Regular breeding works like this, you must find a mate for your dragon of the oppostie sex. and to do that you could look in the Guest book on the Hatchery page or look down below. Once you find a mate you need to e-mail my master at LadyShalar@the-lair.com and tell her who you want to breed and then she will write back as soon as possible and tell you if it has been approved. and you will get to choose 2 eggs out of the bunch and keep one for each parent (so the parents can have some of their dragons on their page) and the rest of the eggs will go up for adoption. Well that's how it's done.


The Breeding Scale!!!! the breeding scale goes like this:
(Special) is the best there is usually 10 to 15 eggs in a clutch. and a golden egg too!!!

(Good) is the second best there are about 10 eggs in clutch and about 2 to 5 specials

(OK) is the next best and there's about 5 to 10 eggs in a clutch but not as many specials

(Average) is the worst there is a maximum *usually* of about 8.
so choose a mate wisely.

And this is the last thing before we will let you choose a mate.

The Breeding Rules:

1. Females can only breed once a week and they can only have 5 clutches total.
2. Males can breed any time they want
3. Special Dragons can't breed with Average dragons
4. Both parents have to agree to breed.
5. If there's a gold dragon in the clutch the parent of the female dragon gets the gold one unless there's two
