Campain Rules

Here are the campain rules for the campain that I just signed up for. It will be played on a 25 by 25 hexagonal grid. There are about 13 other people involved also. I will be playing Chaos and my friend and his father will be playing Orcs and Goblins and Wood Elves.

You must have a castle to win.
You must have your army banner to win in a castle.
The winner will be who has the most Empire points.
The Empire points are as follows:
1. Castle with banner: 2000 pts.
2. Control of a castle: 1500 pts.
3. Control of a stronghold: 750 pts.
4. Control of a fortification: 450 pts.
5. Control of a town: 150 pts.
6. Control of a village: 50 pts.
7. For every 250 army points of the whole army: 10 pts.
Costs for building:
1. Castle: 10000 pts.
2. Srtonghold: 4000 pts.
3. Fortification: 3000 pts.
4. Town: 1000 pts.
5. Village: 500 pts.
You must have the lower settlement on the same hex. to upgrade to a higher settlement. You have to have an army on the hex. to build occupied hex. If you win the battle, or siege, you win that area. Terrain must be displayed to represent the area.
No double magic items or special characters on battlefield, so change their names.
Start off with a village and 10000 pts.
Armies cannot be more than 3000 pts. each. That does not mean that you can't have more that one army in a hex.
Siege rules apply for castle takeovers.
You can scout any area next to the one you are in and using that info that turn.
You cannot launch an offensive unless you are within the army restrictions.
If you army falls short of requirements then you must retreat to nearest friendly outpost or unit.

1. Scouting phase
2. Upgrade phase
3. Movement phase
4. Fighting phase
During upkeep phase you may upgrade characters of hero status or more to general to split your army into two armies that can go in two different directions.

1. Forbidden Rod
2. Executioner's Axe
3. Staff of Nurgle
