"I cant belive you here! Nobody thought you were coming back!" Malon cried, eyes dancing like she wanted to explode and go every where at once. "It hasn't been that long." Link replied giving Malon a weird look because of her childish excitement. "Everyone will be so glad your here and.." She was cut off by a loud rumble folowed by a violent shake that forced them to the ground. It subsided after a minute. "What was that?" Link asked, steading himself as got up. "We don't really know, but we think their from the ground settling after the evil going away. You know, like aftershocks from an earthquake." Malon replied dusting herself off. "I hope Epona's ok. She's terrified of the quakes." "Want me to get her?" Link asked, slowly pulling out his orcana. "That would be great, thanks" Malon replied. Link quickly played Epona's Song and she soon was seen. "She looks okay." Malon confimed as Epona trotted nearer. "Oh my gosh!! I have to get back and make supper. I'm sorry. Drop bye some time! Bye" Malon shouted taking off. 'Were all the way by the Korkiri Forrest, she won't make it in time.' Link thought as he mounted Epona and Galloped up to Malon, still running. "Want a ride?" he shouted over the drone of hoof beats. "What?" Malon shouted slowing down. "Want a ride?" Link repeated halting his horse. "Yes please." Malon replied hopping up on her stomach and flopping around so she was sitting with both legs on the same side. "I learned how to do that so I could ride bareback without my Grandma yelling at me 'to be more lady-like'." Malon humored as link got Epona to trot and then gallop. In a minute, Link, Malon, and Epona apeared inside Lon-Lon Ranch. "Put Epona in the feild" Malon ordered hopping down and running inside. Link did and casually strolled around a bit before finding Malon insise heating up stew. "Are you going to stay for dinner, Link?" She asked, not even turning around. "Sure, thanks. Anything I can do?" Link replied. "Go upstairs and get my dad please. He probably fell asleep by the window waiting for me!" Malon said with a giggle. Link climed the stairs and hesitated before knocking on the door." "WHAT IN TARNATION?!?!" Link was startled as Talon shouted from behind the door. He feel off the stairs just as you could hear a THUMP from the room. Malon burst out laughing as Link fell into a hay stack and Talon came out rubbing his bald head. "Fall asleep again, Dad?" Malon laughed removing the stew from the fire. There was another small tremor then everything went silent. The air was heavy and the three looked around knowing something was wrong.
